Buc-ee's isn't just a gas station, it's a movement, a phenomenon... an empire.

The history of this beaver is as interesting and unique as the stores themselves.

Come along on a journey and see for yourself in this mini documentary on the world's largest convenience store.

Imagine hating on and protesting a gas station that adds to your community and not saying anything about Wal Mart or any of the other monopolies that destroy communities.

I watched as a Buc Ee's was built here in South Carolina and I watched as they Employed hundreds of people, and young people and set a standard for good work. we don't have much here in South Carolina but we are most certainly grateful for our Buck Ee's.
  • I work at the Katy branch! I love it! It’s fun to see someone random in public, on my day off, wearing a Bucees shirt. As I pass them, I mention “Hey, I like your shirt, I work there”. They always respond with, “OMG, I LOVE BUCEES!” 😆👏🏻

They steal their idea of a logo from a television commercial and have the audacity to sue a company using an alligator for a mascot? I spent 35 years in the identity biz and I find this appalling.

Imagine not knowing what a buckees was and stumbling across it on your way to Florida. It was the highlight of my life.

First time stopping in a Buc-ees and I have to say I was very impressed! It was HUGE, it was CLEAN, it was active with people ready & willing to help. There were plenty of well-lit gas pumps and the price of gas was 16 cents less than the Gateway plaza at the next exit.

Two weeks ago, my wife and I traveled from central NC to Tampa. After stopping at the new Buc-ee's in Florence, SC, it worked out perfectly for us to hit the store in Daytona. Then on the way home, St. Augustine Fl and once again, Florence. It was a short trip for us but in all honesty, we spent more money at Buc-ee's than any other place during our trip, outside of our actual hotel. Great store.

So what’s the problem? I just watched a story here about 2 very hard working, dedicated business men with a vision they brought to life, bringing them much deserved success. Outstanding job Buc-cees!

Fun Fact: The First Bucc-ee's is still standing to this day and it's one of the stations that uses ethanol free for lawn mowers and stuff.

Worked at Bucees for several years and I really have only heard that the Ipana Beaver story once. Yes he was called Beaver as a kid, and he did have a dog named Buc or Buck, but that was named after the high school just minutes down the road from their first store. The school's mascot or whatever you call it is the Buccaneers and it was the high school that Arch also went to and graduated from.

As a traveling RV-er you can always count on bucees for clean restrooms, great food, good assortment, plenty of room for gas!

Just stopped at the newest Buc-ee's in Florance, SC in October, 2022. This place is incredible! The food, variety and cleanliness of the facility is Top Notch! Can't wait to stop again on my next vacation.

We had never heard of Buc-ee’s. We love our Wawa. When our daughter got stationed in San Antonio, we went to visit her, and she said this place was a must. (New Braunfels) Gotta say, we were super impressed. I had to get a tumbler. The food and snacks were worth the stop. We recently drove to Baton Rouge and got to go to the one in Loxley, AL. Buc-ee’s is a fun stop, especially after driving for hours.

First time I found about Buc-ees was when travelling to Austin (I am not from TX). I saw a huge beaver portrait named "Katy" and I thought that was very cute. On my way back I decided to stop and found out that was not its name, but a city. I got hooked to Buc-ees from that point.
  • The Buc-ee’s empire is a well-known chain of convenience stores located in Texas. It offers a wide range of snacks, drinks, and other items for travelers and local residents. The stores are famous for their clean facilities and friendly staff, making them a popular stop for road trips. Buc-ee’s empire has grown over the years, expanding to multiple locations across the state. The founders of Buc-ee’s started with a single store in Lake Jackson, Texas, and have since built a successful business empire. They prioritize providing customers with a pleasant shopping experience and high-quality products. Buc-ee’s empire has become a staple in Texas culture, known for its iconic beaver mascot and clean restrooms. The company's commitment to excellence has helped it thrive in a competitive market. In addition to its convenience stores, the Buc-ee’s empire has expanded to include travel centers that offer fuel, food, and other amenities for travelers. These travel centers provide a one-stop shop for those on long journeys, making them a convenient choice for rest stops. The Buc-ee’s empire continues to grow and innovate, remaining a beloved brand in Texas and beyond.
  • Wow an alligator in a cowboy hat is similar to the beaver? Not at all. That’s ridiculous. Makes me not want to ever go to one.

Still waiting for the "Ugly truth" part... Can't stand bad channels like this who make things dramatic for no reason

Our adult kids excitedly told us about their first visit to a Buc-Ees, the one in South Alabama off I-10 near the beach exits. They were extremely impressed and bought quite a few items that they had not seen anywhere else. Buc-Ees is amazing! We have stopped at the one at Leeds, AL off I-20 numerous times and while traveling thru have stopped there with friends who had never heard of Buc-Eees. They were all quite impressed. Over 120 gas pumps, huge spotlessly clean bathrooms. There were about 16 men’s toilet rooms with full doors and at least that many sinks and urinals, lots of fresh food choices, decor items, souvenirs, name brand clothing, shoes and accessories, etc. Prices are good as well. The one in Leeds is across the street from a huge Bass Pro Shops and an outlet mall is across the interstate.
  • The hardest part of moving away from Texas was losing our Buc-ee’s fix. Can’t wait for our next visit back! Great video and learned so much
