Fun fact : Madagascar used to be home to an extinct species of dwarf hippos!! These hippos evolved from African hippos that got stuck on Madagascar when it left Africa!! If those hippos could survive and adapt to a smaller island, then I think it's safe to say Gloria would definitely survive!!!

I find it that penguins of Madagascar is a criminally under rated series I grew up to it but I am a 2010 kid so nobody will ever take me seriously but still the show is amazing and watching it now gives me so much nostalgia

I came up with a weird theory too. What if Marty is an omnivore? Omnivore is basically an animal that can eat both meat and plants, and if Marty was friends with Alex since childhood, he might have tried to eat steak and actually enjoy, but he prefers to keep it a secret, because he knows that it can shock people and other animals!

The Madagascar Trilogy had some cool eating scenes such as Alex eating steak,fish and sushi,Marty eating seaweed on a stick,grass and birthday cake,Gloria eating seaweed on a stick and fruit,Melman eating seaweed on a stick,Penguins eating fish,cheezy dibbles and popcorn,Lemurs eating fruit and prawns,North Wind eating Salmon,Alex eating cupcakes,Max the cat eating sardines,Alex,Marty,Gloria and Melman eating Christmas Cookies,Dave the octopus eating fish,DR Blowhole eating fish,Sonya eating fish,Lemurs eating cake,jelly and popcorn

It would be interesting to see how a Lion, Zebra, Giraffe, Hippopotamus, and Penguins, would evolve to be adapted to the conditions of Madagascar, would the Giraffes still have long necks, would zebras still have their stripes, who knows, its fun to think of speculative evolution.
