The moment when Kirsten Dunst says they (actresses) have a responsibility to uplift female filmmakers is what separates her from most famous actresses who talk the talk but not walk the walk. She's worked with so many female directors it's absolutely nuts. A-list actresses have more power than the vast majority of female directors—that's just TRUE. Also: Julianna Margulies is SUPER pissy at that moment and it's really weird. Hats off to Kirsten. Sidebar: Regina King & Kirsten Dunst on a panel together is like the best thing in the world.

I love what Kirsten Dunst said when she turned the sexism question around and called out actresses having to wear ballgowns at these roundtables. I have always found it ridiculous.

I could sit & listen to Sarah Paulson & Kerry Washington talk for hours.
  • @lebiasa
thank you for changing the interviewer!!!! this woman is so much better than that guy who kept interrupting everyone.
  • @skeetavint
Kirsten Dunst is the only one who doesn't seem to take herself too seriously. She's a breath of fresh air!
  • Kirsten has her feet on the ground, she's all professional, going from independent films to blockbuster movies and now to TV. She's the total opposite of a diva.

Kirsten is so "be the change you want to see" - I love it! She is so right about finding great projects produced/directed/written by talented women to move us forward. Having passionate well-known actors to star in their work will really help them break into industry and make them more desirable for future investors, actors, etc.

All those women are amazing, but I just LOVE Sarah Paulson and Kerry Washington. Such strong performers and so smart.

Such a great Roundtable. The moderator hardly even had to prompt. Such intelligent and gifted women in this group.
  • Regina King honestly does not get the credit she deserves. She's so amazing yet so underrated.
  • Ya'll forgot to mention that Dunst won the Cannes prize for Best Actress. That is the biggest accomplishment in that roundtable.
  • @MadiBrianne
get sarah paulson and vera farmiga on the same roundtable again please
  • @prettytalia143
I love when a woman is talking about something, another woman will ask her a follow up question...to expand further. They are genuinely interested in each other.

Also am i the only one that enjoys the women's roundtables, both drama and comedy and the Oscars ones waaay more than any of the men's ones? I could watch these women talk for days on end, but I've ever made it through more than 5 mins of any of the men's roundtables lmao.
  • Sarah Paulson being told she has to be blond is so interesting. I think she looks better with dark hair, hopefully she will be allowed to keep her natural hair colour in something soon!

Kirsten Dunst is my favorite actress. I love her in Virgin Suicides, Melancholia, Marie Antoinette, & The Beguiled. Cool to hear her in a more casual round-table.
