Why Isn't Supercell Adding New Rare Brawlers In Brawl Stars?

I guess supercell needs innovative and interesting new characters to keep the game alive, and if you think about it rare brawlers have really easy-to-understand kits and gameplay, so new brawlers can't fit into the rare category. super rare has the same problem too imo
  • I reckon they should add a new rarity, because there’s way too many epic and mythic brawlers right now and a new rarity would help spread them out
  • Maybe instead of adding more rare or super rare brawlers they could convert existing and less interesting brawlers into lower rarities. For example Jacky can go from super rare to rare or Edgar can go from epic to super rare. It doesn’t really solve any of these problems mentioned in the video but it could help even out the rarities a little bit.

The thing is that the servers would explode because everyone uses the same brawler.
  • @Mr.Roshambo
They already got the basic mechanics down with the rare and super rare so I think it makes sense to me
  • @therussiandog87
i serioulsy would not mind having another rare or super rare brawlers, just to even out the rarities

If they were it needs to be very easy to understand and have no crazy mechanics, and if they have an idea for a rare or super rare brawler it'll most likely be in a three brawler update
  • @rubenlohata5263
they have crazy ideas that doesn't fit rare of super rare brawlers and they have already area controlling ppl
  • @idkicy2690
It’s cause it would ruin the early game
  • @ThatGuyNick_YT
They need to add low rarity brawlers in that one update of the year that brings 3 brawlers to the game

I can't just handle the "Supercell won't add rare brawlers becuz Rosa was broken" anymore. Gus, the last super-rare brawler, was not broken at all on launch. If they don't want to release rare brawlers they could release super-rare ones instead.
  • @Ocram0
Starr road is based off the release date of the brawler, you will get the chance to get gus after obtaining three legendaries, so releasing a rare brawler wouldnt be a huge deal, but would create an apocalypse
  • Summary: rare brawlers are easy to unlock so when one releases every game you go into has that character and that character only, along with them not having ideas basic enough to be such a low rarity
  • And also i would like them to add more ways to play like gamemodes that comeout giving resources or for them to add more quests that give resources
  • @FLAPSER
If they would raise the standards for a higher rarity, they can put some down to rare and super rare and continue to make more higher rarity brawlers. I do think the amount of credits needed for a brawler would have to change to not imbalance how fast you get brawlers
  • @dante8105
Money they need money If they add rare/super rare nobody will buy the pass for the credits
  • @fofanason2
The video wrapped up in 1 comment: Rare brawlers are cheap, not intresting, simple and you get them at the start.
  • @ushtonian
some brawlers are much more simple than they seem, supercell is just greedy
  • It's because they don't want to overwhelm new players, and don't want people to unlock brawlers too fast. Saved you 8 minutes
  • @MandrinNinja
I feel like some superrare/epic brawlers could be rare, like edgar, dinamike, gus and some more
