Man.. Remember when the old giant darts were like the ultimate destroyers and hardly anything could survive against those? Unbelievable how far this channel has come and can't wait to see where it's gonna go in the years ahead

8:33 Geologist here! Marble is actually limestone which went through some sort of metamorphosis (experienced high pressures and temperatures). Its build up mostly by calcite (CaCO3) and dolomite (CaMg[CO3]2) Crystals.

This feels like Mythbusters, just without the science 😂 Jokes aside, I love these guys. Really fun!
  • @RichWitGame
At impact on the glass cube, the cracks spider so fast it looks like a frame is missing. You may get a more impressive result with a tempered glass cube or sphere.

Hammer suggestion: Two large pieces of quartz on top of each other, done at night. This is because quartz emits light (triboluminescence) when its lattice is broken and would be superb to see on the slowie.

What a quick start to the viddy! Definitely a new strategy! The 44 club will miss the opening shenanigans, but good on the boys for playing the algorithm!
  • @GerinoMorn
Oh man, the pressure waves inside the exercise ball, amazing. You can see how the energy oscillates faster and faster and finally the pressure of that wave ruptures the rubber.

the way Gaunson says "But it turned to wartahhh" is the funniest thing I've ever or ever will hear in my life
  • Glass: World renowned subject of metaphors featuring fragility HR: “Oh yeah, definitely gonna survive this many ton hammer being dropped on it. Three pieces, max.”
  • @SephiraPhantom
"We are not the Slow Mo Guys, but we are guys who do good slow mo." So... are we hinting at a future HR video with Dan and Gav?
  • @foreverkurome
I think I just understood exactly why these guys take cover while the hammer comes down. That shard of beer keg looked deadly.
  • Those paint cans were definitely a 10/10! I can't imagine how that could be any cooler
  • @purpleYamask
HR Crew: "Where's the Glass Cube?!" Jack, checking the slow-y: "Gone, reduced to atoms."
  • @PWeb89
You should start an art museum with all the random squashed objects!
  • @SarahNashB
My son, Caleb, really wants to play Rocket League Sideswipe with you guys! He's a huge fan and even started his own youtube channel with trick shots and often features our Rexy! Thank you!!!
  • Hey, Guys! Got a suggestion for you! You should think about creating some sort of launch system (maybe like a seesaw, which I’m sure would need to either be very sturdy or easily replaceable!) with which you’d use the giant hammer. You could also compete with each other to predict distances of the various objects you’d launch. Thanks for all the entertainment, and Merry Christmas!

The engineers you teamed up with to build this thing must bloody love you guys, awesome stuff!
