The Sun are ridiculously stacked with talent. The media isn’t as tapped in with as many W “insiders” as in the NBA but in most sports there are locker room politics. Coach Witherspoon obviously LOVES Chennedy and Angel, prioritizing their development. The 2nd best player on that team was Mabrey. Reese was the 3rd. For them to be in the playoff hunt and Mabrey to want out - clearly something was going on. Also - Chennedy has had a career laced with locker room incidents that have blown teams up in the past; Apparently, she was Liz Cambage’s last straw for leaving the W.

AR last 3 games - 4/10, 3/13, 5/17. Those are trash numbers for someone who sits in the paint. Stop with the BS, Reese sucks and the double doubles are artificial. Nobody cares.

They sacrificed wins n teammates scoring chances just for one person to get double doubles, ya can't tell me they didn't intentionally skip other players scoring chances just to make sure Reese scored her ten plus. They were so focused on trying to get Reese ROTY they lost possibly their second best scorer n best three point scorer, now they don't have a reliable deep threat n Reese is even further behind Clark for ROTY. The Sky have sixteen games left n may only win six of them, so stupid thinkin.

I don’t think it was the streak but I kinda think there was maybe some Angel favoritism going on, there was some weird shit happening with rotations at the end of games.. also why would they come out and say she demanded a trade if she didn’t? That never looks good on an organization. Another thing that is weird is that none of her teammates wished her well and then right after, Angel not showing up to the all-star party when Marina was gonna be there kinda looks fishy

I don't blame her, Reese and Carter are head cases. Their facilities suck, and she can definitely win more in Connecticut. No brainer.

Sky fans are geniuses, they figure Mabrey is a horrible player even though a winning successful team like Connecticut Suns were willing to pay her max contract to get her. They also figure the worst offensive player on the team should be their #1 scoring option and someone who shoots 20% from 3 can score from anywhere on the floor.

She’s on a team with Cennedy Carter- who has been so toxic, since she entered the league and even in college, her teammates were miserable with her. She’s barely holding it together for the first season since high school because she has more eyes on her right now, but that doesn’t mean she’s not completely toxic in the locker room.
