I got to spend the day hanging out with Kirkand Kaila Krack, learning how to hold my breath like the Metkayina! Thanks to their teachings, I was able to hold my breath underwater for almost 3 minutes. It was a pretty incredible experience!

Oh, for those who don't know, Kirk Krack, marine unit and consultant on the film, taught actors like Kate Winslet and Sigourney Weaver the proper techniques that helped them hold their breath so they could act underwater for long periods of time. In fact, he is responsible for Kate Winslet learning how to hold her breath for 7 minutes and 14 seconds. During my experience, I had the opportunity to interview Kirk and Kaila. I'm excited to share the insights they shared with me in my upcoming video. So you can learn even more about the behind the scenes of TWOW. Stay tuned!

Thank you @AvatarOfficial @20thcenturyhomeent for inviting me to this "Press Adventure in Breath Holding" that was celebrating the digital release of Avatar: The Way of Water.

In this breakdown, analysis, reaction and explanation we focus on Tsireya's relationship with Lo'ak (Britain Dalton), Kiri (Sigourney Weaver), Neteyam (Jamie Flatters), Aonung (Filip Geljo), Rotxo (Duane Evans Jr.), and her parents, Ronal (Kate Winslet) and Tonowari (Cliff Curtis). I also talk about props (like the blades) and costume design of the character. As well as why Tsireya's parents and the rest of the Metkayina disappeared for the final battle in the film.

I love tsireya’s character, she is so patient and kind. She’s going to make a good queen one day
  • Through a deleted scene from the first movie we discovered that Neytiri could not become Tsahik if she choose to be with Jake. I am curious to see how Tsireya's relationship with Lo'ak will evolve and how they will end.
  • Kiri is like a fan of the movies actually being able to live there. She’s born into that world, but is always amazed by it.
  • @Sora6893
I honestly LOVED HER, the first moment she appears with that typical teen scene (that sexy moment where the teen falls in love lol, can't blame him), she's stunning and SO nice, the only one who actually behaved like she should with new people! I really can't wait for the next movies, it's gonna be awesome.
  • Okay but idk if it's because my algorithm is messed up but you're like the only youtuber out there that makes positive videos on the James Cameron avatar. Idky everyone thinks it's cool to hate on it but it's a genuinely good yet simple storyline that hits close to home, with amazing graphics. Through this Chanel I found out there are comics which I didn't even know existed which I'm going to check out.
  • NGL Tsireya is one of my favorite characters in the way of water.
  • @OTanimations
It’s kinda interesting that the free diving exercises are very similar to (if not exactly) what we have to do in highschool band to warm up. We get told to breathe from our diaphragm a lot and it makes me wonder if band kids would make good free divers.
  • Bryce I personally think you should do readings of the comic. Break down the comic panel by panel and or just the plot cause I am sadly to broke to afford the comics. Anyway thank you for the in-depth content on the avatar lore of Pandora its creatures and the story it is truly an amazing sci-fi world. thank you
  • Thank you so much for making these analysis videos! I had trouble understanding what was going on when watching Avatar: The Way of Water. My mind and bladder were hurting. Thanks to these videos I don't have to watch the first movie. I can't wait for the next movie to come out so I can spit out encyclopedic knowledge of these movies to my dad.
  • Can you do a Neteyam vid I would love to know more about this character specially when he haves so much depth in his life and yet there barely touched upon the movie and they just kill him off and I'm sure you can find more of his day to day life like with this amazing Tsireya video 🙌
  • @urfavvirgoo
Tsireya will be an amazing tsahik one day, and have a bunch of other amazing people by her side
  • @irmdean7640
i actually beg of you to make a lo'ak explained video and you need to mention the teen romance between him and Tsireya and don't forget how he's living the story his father has already written!! thank you for listening.
  • @CeltycSparrow
I think Tsireya will make a beautiful Queen. And I think Lo'ak would be a worthy mate for her. She's beautiful and kind, but she's willing to see things from a different perspective....as she does with Lo'ak.
  • @SPturns
I was actually confused between her and Ronal when Tsireya and lo'ak's romance scene comes in the trailer I thought that Ronal was cheating on Tonowari by having an affair with Lo'ak.But when i watched the movie i was relieved
  • @duskypip
I’m totally not binge watching your entire avatar playlist as I descend back into my Avatar research & analysis phase…. aaanyyway that’s so cool you met Kirk and his daughter! I want to learn how to freedive😭😭
  • @cynvision
Yeah. The lack of any tying up of how the warriors wrapped up the battle/falling back/witnessing the battle/rescuing anyone/chasing the RDA out of the area does show the movie isn't supposed to challenge viewers thinking. I think the giant fuel fire and being in shallow water was supposed to be the glaring plot device to indicate they were cut off.
  • @Nicole-kt5qf
I love this lore and you covering it. Thank you. Personally I believe tuk helped with kiri because her own grandmother is the healer of their people, so she is most likely trained in healing. I heard a cut scene of tuk with her grandmother was removed from. The movie, perhaps it was of tuk learning
  • @etherico3041
Rotxo was there at the fight he’s to the right of neyteyam. At least I’m pretty sure that’s him I honestly didn’t know that was his name until this video thank you!
