From Frustration To Salvation: The Amazing Solution That Saved The Day!

Today on the homestead I created some planters by upcycling 55 gallon drums. I created a swimming pool/hot tub by upcycling an IBC tote and I added a water spigot in the back yard.
I got the idea for the hot tub/pool from MamaV at @possumrunhomestead If you dont follow her channel, go check her out! She is a great inspiration for me!

I hear your pain. I have RA and fibromyalgia. Just have to do what you can when you feel you can. I’m thinking of you. You don’t quit and that is a plus. You have accomplished so much. Take care of yourself🇺🇸❤️

If you have a co op or landscape place that sells dirt by the yard would be great option to getting your good dirt. It’s so much cheaper. You have a truck that would take one yard so you don’t have to pay for delivery. I bought mushroom compost/ mulch and my garden is booming. Good idea with the top of the white tote to make it into another garden bed. Great job hun

Hey beautiful!! You got allot done around the homestead, you keep pushing yourself to keep going, coming up with amazing ideas, and using things just lying around the house to make some much needed things to beat the summer heat. I hate you are not been able to use your hands like you need to. But thank the Lord for Susie coming to give you two good hands. Oh Annmarie I have nerve damage to my back and it has changed my mobility and strength. I feel your frustration. I live by the theory that something is better than nothing! Just keep trying something always gives. Place is really taking shape.

Another job done. To save yourself some work, you might want to consider putting a cover of some sort over the pool/hot tub to keep out leaves and debris or you'll just end up having to clean it all over again when you're ready to start using it

Hon, I am right there with you on not having the strength in the hands; it seems like I always have to ask for help when it comes to that. Remember....you have a game plan, not a set plan; just keep rolling with the punches and you'll eventually get things done. I can hardly wait to see the swimming pool in action!! 🙂

I would make a pool for the dogs out of the part of the tank you set aside. Plug the hole somehow and fill with water for a doggy pool. You might already have something like this for them.....then you would also have to deal with wet dogs:( From SE Kansas 🌻
