Love the review and the sneak peak of the Droid carrier in the background. 🙂

I love buying prequel sets and i think the build is fantastic. They executed it perfectly in my opinion. For the size i would have purchased it day 1 for $55 but $65 seems little steep for the size and piece count.
  • Dude this set is amazing, what are you talking about? I agree, the minifig-scale one sucks, but the main dish? Outstanding.

Aside from it being slightly pricy, I really don't know what else to expect from a Droideka set. It looks like what a Droideka should. The transformation really doesn't look too complicated, I get that the legs had to be done like that for stability. The size isn't bad at all, pretty sure the designer had the play aspect in mind, too big and it can start to fall apart when rolling around
  • We have so many molds from lego for one character only. On god, just make a droideka mold. Lego tried so many times and failed. Just accept the failure and move on!

Looks good - will at it to my list - but Tie interceptor and the Brick Headz looks awesome

The small droideka is cute, definitely Legos best shot at this character so far. I hope to see it appear in future sets. Naboo N1 remake, anyone?

I thought the black boxes were cool in like 2020 but now that every Lego Star Wars set is just a black box I think the Lego store looks depressing whenever I go to the Star Wars section

Just like the unique B1 battle droid and the commando droid head molds and the B2 torsos with unique arms they should just cut the cost and design us a brand new lego droid head mold and unique body parts to build more minifigure scale accurate droideka but still leave enough of that Lego aspect to it to not try to make it look too realistic and complex as in an Hasbro action figure.

this looks sooo good for the price. im kinda debating whether to get this or to save for the tie interceptor

glad to see they are going with paper bags now, it actually pissed me off how much plastic was going to waste just from opening up a box and seeing 30 different platic bags they were just going to be thrown in the bin

Another set I’ll get at a discount. Good review
  • @Ninnomus

Seeing this makes me want buildable super battle droids, B1s, and Clones. Ex the buildable figs that never got made.
