The sifter isn’t faster, but it is less messy on the surface
  • The whisk cleaner isn’t to clean it spotless, it’s so you don’t have it covered in batter and stuff that gets everywhere

Many gadgets are designed for people with disabilities. There are people who can't shake flour due to weakness or nerve damage, etc.

I will say something to keep in mind when doing these videos is that sometimes it's not necessarily to make your life easier and faster but maybe for people with mobility issues. I have dexterity problems and using a normal sifter can sometimes be difficult for me but that battery operated sifter would solve the issue for me

The whisk thing doesnt work well for thin batters, it's more for things like brownie mix that will get stuck in the whisk x❤❤

The cake strips are actually renowned in the baking world for baking cakes without caramelization, and domes. I use them all the time! Actually a little upset because I have those exact same ones and I bought them at a cake store. Come to think of it they probably buy everything offshore and sell it super expensive here in USA 😡 Anyway, they cannot be soggy. You must remove all the excess water. Maybe why your cake cooked gross. You soak, them completely wring out the excess, and bake! You get the best layers! No trimming caramelization or domes!

Why would you pull a cake out of the oven without testing to see if it's done.... And the whisk wiper is meant to save most of the batter that sticks to the whisk, not to actually clean it.

I’m a little surprised you haven’t heard about cake strips, or the science behind them (and that you need to let cakes bake a little longer when using them).
  • @dreanna5514
I'm pretty sure for the wet belt gadget you're supposed to cook the cake slightly longer, cause the water makes it cook slower basically

The cupcake scooper clearly needed to be wiped on the bottom like with the icecream scooper, to make it less messy. Also, the cake with the wrap wasn't goopy it was undercooked.
  • 1- it definitely makes LESS of a mess in comparison; can be useful for disabled people; it's definitely useful if you have to sift a lot of stuff 2- thicker batter. Plus I ALWAYS get batter or butter stuck inside of the whisk, that's what it's for and I would love one 3- yeah I can't see that one working better than other things or easier 4- it was definitely undercooked and it definitely delivered, you should've increased cooking time 5- yep it worked that was cool 6- I don't like it that much for the same reasons you mentioned 7- with the right tips I think that might work well? But I didn't like the results that much 8- meh I knew that one, it works but I wouldn't buy it

She wasn’t even giving any of the items a proper chance. It’s like she wanted them to purposely fail.

I have the motorized sifter. I love it!!! Saves my wrist it doesn't create a dust storm or such a mess when sifting. Oh, and I DIDN'T pay $30- for it either!! Paid much lower price.

The strips actually make your cake not have a crust on the sides. It’s great 👍🏻
  • i’m sorry but with the cake batter scooper , i feel like the batter needed to be thicker, your batter was very liquid-y. Not trying to be rude luv just an idea

The baking strips work when used properly. Cakes do need to bake a bit longer and they need to cool down completely.
  • The purple bands work really well keeping the outer edges of the cake from getting to brown while baking and yes baking does take a bit longer but a toothpick check is all that is needed. Love mine
  • @niansillabffs
I use cake strips all the time and my cakes come out fine and not wet. It's not about cooking it faster or at the same time as not using one but about saving time on leveling and cutting off caramelized edges. Maybe next time you should poke it in the center before you take it out
  • @saramaier202
The cake strips are the best. You just have to add about 5 - 8 minutes more to your cooking time. My cakes are level and I don't have to cut off the dome, so my cakes are nice and tall because there is no wasted cake.
