Which one of these stories would you like to see full videos on? (besides McRib and Natalie Wood which we already have)

I remember 1981 all too well. My parents’ divorce was finalized 2 1/2 months before my 18th birthday/their would-be 20th wedding anniversary (yes, same day). Nothing like having your mom painfully weeping on what would have been her wedding anniversary while “celebrating” turning 18. As birthdays go, it was memorable for all the wrong reasons. Two months later, I graduated. Three months after that, my grandfather succumbed to his cancer, just as I was to start college. I couldn’t go to his funeral because Mom couldn’t afford a plane ticket to NC and my first semester at the U. When I cried, she looked at me and asked which thing Grandpa would want the money spent on, going to college or a flight to his funeral. Grandpa had a master’s degree. He’d have chewed me, probably in Italian, if I didn’t start school. I didn’t visit his grave until 3 years later when Mom flew me to NC to spend spring break with Grandma. She told me then that Grandpa would have fully understood and been very proud of me. (She too had a college degree and would pass away 32 years later at 107.)

I swear you could make an episode for each year 1980-2020 and I’d sit happily and binge watch every single one!

This is great!

I wish to go back to the 80's and live there forever...

This is officially the best series on weird history

Did anyone else watch "I love the 80s" (or 70s or 90s) on VH1? I watched every single episode, I absolutely loved it. I'm so glad to see this series on YouTube !

It was the beginning of an awesome decade with some of the best music and movies ever to come out. Most modern movies, shows and tv commercials always reference something from the 80s, whether it be a movie or a song from the 80s. Loved the 80s and had a blast everyday and I don't think I ever had a dull moment or was ever bored.

I remember 1981 as a 20 year old. This video brings back some of the events not its essence. 1981 was wonderful setting the tone for the decade. Only those who lived it felt the spirit of the adventure and newness it brought. I appreciate your video, good job guys.👍👏🇺🇸🎉

This Timeline show has legit made me seek out my old childhood friends from the 80s in the hopes of recapturing part of the magic of the best decade ever.
-
I can’t wait until they get to 2020! It’s going to be 3 hours long

I was born in '72 and so I was fortunate enough to experience and remember the entire decade of the 80's. It is and will forever be my favorite decade! The TV shows, movies, cartoons, music, toys and the kids I grew up with were the best! My friends and I would play outside everyday. So many great memories were made in the '80s!
-
I was born in October of ‘81. Being a kid in the 80s was the best. MOTU, Transformers, Thundercats, we were on top of the world. And the music, you all know about the music.

Scientists: Eureka!! We've created a strange mystery meat!! Now how do we get people to eat it?? McDonalds: McRib anyone?
-
On a sad note Adam Walsh was murdered in 1981 which led to the creation of “America’s Mosted Wanted” crime show hosted by Adam’s father.
