know you probably won’t see this, but your music means a lot to me. my mom loved when i played it for her in the car because she said it was so peaceful and relaxing but it didn’t make her sad. a few months later, i played it on my phone for her while she was in the hospital with cancer. we lost her two weeks ago tomorrow, and i’m currently sobbing my eyes out to this rendition, my favorite song and how i discovered you. really wanted to take her to see you live someday, but we never got there. but my point is, thank you. your music means a lot to a lot of people, and it means a lot to me.

It's days like these that I'm absolutely happy that I stumbled onto their music when I was younger God, I could sit and just listen to him sing for hours.

It never fails to strike me that there are so few live cell phone videos of this man. My guess is that people are so present to the moment that it never occurs to them to film it. Something magical about that.
