Tacos 1986 is a phenomenon in Los Angeles. Jorge “Joy” Alvarez-Tostado opened the business as a taco stand in November 2018, and he's already opened a brick-and-mortar restaurant that has quickly become one of the best restaurants in LA. so i went here after watching this video and i can verify this place is LEGIT as can be. The food was amazing but can get a bit pricey because 2 tacos are just not enough. You will also see him on the trompo talking just like he does in this video. good job guys

honestly these tacos are good but, you can just drive across a bridge into east LA and get better tacos for half the price. This place is taking advantage of those that don't know any better.

Besides the fact that his food looks amazing, I definitely like the energy he’s putting out in everything. I feel like the flavor would be incomplete without meeting him
