Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt at a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.

A spectator was killed in the attack, while two other people were seriously injured.

The gunman, named as Thomas Matthew Crooks, was shot and killed by the Secret Service, though his motive remains unknown.

BBC Verify has pieced together videos, eye-witness testimony and satellite imagery from the rally to answer the question of how the attack happened.

Yo, the American secret agencies are all over the world, snooping around and stuff, but they totally forgot about protecting their own ex-president.😂

BBC and the mainstream media sound so sad
  • B.B.C Verify? The main presenter lied about her qualifications to get the job.
  • So where the hell is the Director of the US Secret Service Kimberly Cheatle? She should have held a national press conference addressing the valid concerns about lapses in security measures and questions regarding refusal of further security funding for former President Trump.

They big up 'BBC verify' like it's some state of the art deep-dive analysis. They just use Google Earth, add some rudimentary graphics and make some basic inferences. They must think the viewers are simpletons!
  • BBC verify is like the Post Office doing an internal review during the scandal and found nothing wrong.
  • Some channels blur the images, others show it. Anyway, theres no conspiracy. Just people trying to get views and make money. Simply, The failure here was the security sevices
  • All I want to know is: Did the secret service shouted to him "Donald! duck!"
