Discussing the Future of this Channel Moving Forward...

I’ve always loved bioshock and always will. There is no problem playing games adjacent to bioshock like system shock,prey or dishonored, to fill the gaps while we wait. Keep up the good work. It’ll all play out well in the end.

I pretty much like all the games you suggested like Dishonored, Fallout and Prey so I'd be down for you making videos about them! Obviously we all love Bioshock, but were not getting a new game anytime soon, so I would love to see you talk about other games, in addition to some bioshock themed videos as well! As a creative myself, I always feel its best to stick to what your passionate about and it will make the content that much better! So do what you love man! ❤️ 🎉

I would love to see some videos on games similar to Bioshock such as the new System Shock, and any other videos similar to Bioshock in general because it would allow you much more content ideas without straying from the core of your channel. (Video idea: top 10 games similar to Bioshock?)

Seeing fallout or maybe even half life content would be awesome too if the Bioshock well starts to dry up. Either way though I think a majority of us can confidently say that we’ll never get tired of Bioshock content even if news is slim. I love learning new tidbits of information and Easter eggs and cut content from your videos! 😎

I haven't watched this channel in awhile and I am so happy I found it again, your dedication to this game is amazing and I can't wait to rewatch your lore videos! I think your commentary on games like Fallout would be second to none :)

I will never get tired of Bioshock, but my ears perked up when you mentioned other looter/shooters, especially Fallout! I would definitely tune in for that.

I think the important thing is you keep Bioshock as the heart and soul of the channel - you’ve got nearly 40K subs for a reason my dude. You’re the number 1 Bioshock channel on YouTube, which is impressive considering how niche Bioshock focused videos are. That being said, you’re right to point out that the Bioshock series is a bit of a dry well at this point. No new announcements or even confirmation of another game. So I think personally you should stick to the genre of Bioshock games, but cover other stuff as well to grow the channel and tide us over until something substantive about Bioshock comes out. So I’m thinking Dishonored, Prey, Fallout, maybe even something like Atomic hearts? The worlds your oyster my dude. As long as you keep Bioshock as the heart and soul of this community I think it would be wise to start branching out and doing lore videos, walkthroughs, achievement guides, rumours and maybe even long form documentary type videos about the development of these games and their history and reception up until today, as well as their legacy going forward.

I totally understand where you're coming from, Erik. Playing other games within the same realm as BioShock is a good idea. It sucks that so little information is even known about the future of the franchise, so it makes sense to turn our attention to something else until we hear more news. PLEASE play the System Shock remake!

Always wondered if you would go into fallout content because there are a lot of similarities. I say go for it. The amount of content you could do with it is a very bigger pool than bioshock, as you mentioned. I still love watching people like Kevduit and AlChestBreach, and I think you could really have fun with it. And Borderlands would even be cool, just do what makes you happy, man!

Being that I have never watched any content on Prey or Fallout, I think that would be quite a good idea. Watching your playthroughs as a first would be awesome! Really, just whatever games that you would like to play would be great. Just find what you like while waiting for Judas and any new Bioshock entries.

Totally understand about the challenges involved with the Bioshock franchise and content creation. However, I still think a location adaptation series would be really cool, especially with any potential movie news releasing at any point. Seeing as Rapture is so heavily invested in its individual locations throughout the city, hearing your thoughts as to what you would like to see from a Fort Frolic, for example, or how the movie may look to improve Hephestus, would be really entertaining. Personally I always enjoy watching good quality content regarding Bioshock, which you are capable of providing on a top level! Recently I've got into Dishonored series so that would be cool to see here as well... But in the end, it's your channel buddy. Do as you feel, if the content is good the audience will come automatically :) Wish you luck on your future projects!

I would love to see you blow up in popularity so I'm thinking that you could focus on a game that would aid your success. However, with regards to hidden gems and the looter shooter genre, think of the history of where the devs came from. One such game would be Kingpin: life of crime. It has similar rpg elements to Bioshock via weapon upgrades and currency. There's secrets and safe cracking. And it's also where some of the devs for Dishonored and Half-Life 2 came from. Maybe even bioshock I'm not sure though.

Ever thought of redoing some of the early character videos? Like maybe add more information about characters in the game, or more game footage of that character while telling the story?
