  • A guy dressed as a clown who is laughing uncontrollably is the last dude I would ever mess with.
  • Why tf would anyone start messing with a creepy clown who’s manically laughing, on an empty subway car, at night.

Real talk, those 3 gentlemen nailed those roles (small as they may have been). You know they’re good actors when you hate them so much!

3:11 The way he thinks about committing suicide for a split second is such good acting

“When the victim fights back, everyone loses their minds!”

If you see a clown laughing hysterically on the subway, leave him alone.

The emotional changes in this scene with Arthur from nervous, to fear, to rage, to shock and then to determination of revenge and then back to fear and panic is astounding. JP is phenomenal.

To be honest, what was he supposed to do? They were literally going to beat him to death. I think they deserved what they got. Plus if Arthur wasn't there, what would they have done to that girl? He was right to fight back. The acting is so phenomenal, I already saw this movie like 5 times since it came out and I can't get enough of it. The cinematography, the brilliant acting, the soundtracks, the dialogues, the deep meaning of the story,... It's THE perfect movie for me.
  • cowards only act tough when they're not expecting any consequences

Him shooting those 2 guys in self defence, but then actively pursuing a wounded man crying for help, that’s what separates the joker from everyone else. That’s what makes him a villain. Fantastic acting
  • I was bullied as a child . This movie and Falling Down with Michael Douglas are two of my favorites …

This Joker isn't a mad dog biting everyone. He's the dog that was kicked and decided to bite back.
  • At 00:38 she looks at Arthur for help. He actually drew their attack on him, and then they got what they had coming to them.
