I love driving an electric car. I tell people it’s like driving a very powerful gas car in 1st gear but better. INSTANT response from the throttle but at ANY speed.

After watching your video, I made an appointment at my dealership for the maintenance. Can't believe the guy told me $79 for fluids, tire rotation, brake check and oil change. Guess he didn't know EV's don't take oil.
  • Thank you. I recommend you charge to 85% for better battery health. I like the Ford Mach-E, and especially the AWD model since it is safer. I hope they add a solar panel standard. None of the Teslas come with a solar panel yet, so may be if Ford did that, it would help inspire them. A solar panel could not just add some range each day, but help keep the temperature cooler in the summer.

I’ve gone in for my 10k at the dealership. No cost, just tire rotation and windshield washer fluid. No change in electric bill. My home is over 3k sq feet and our electric is about $200 a month. I charge my MME daily in Texas. I hated going to the gas stations before. I’m glad I have a 240volt in my garage for charging.

I have a Mach E. The car is almost FREE to operate. 27k miles and not one single cost to the shop. Zero maintenance. Nothing. My electric bill at home has increased by about $30 to $60 a month. But it's going lower because my electric rate has decreased from $.15/kwh to $.024/kwh.

The time saved not having to go into the stealership is almost worth it in itself to get an EV. I don’t have a Mach E but I have a different EV. Over two years ownership and about 21k miles on it. I rotate my own tires (10 minutes and free to do) and only thing I’ve needed to spend money on is the cabin filter. Takes two filters and came out to $30 for the pair. So maintenance costs alone for over 2 years is $30. Not a typo. Incredible!

I went to Ford as well to get a tire rotation. Person at ford told me why wait for over 2 hours for a tire rotation you can take this EV to any shop and just add your rotation to your app.

My Chevrolet Volt had 135k miles and the original brakes when I sold it.

Btw I’m still looking at which EV I wanna get. It’s just tough to actually find one in person to see which makes it tough.
  • How is the vehicle in cabin quietness? And I don’t mean that artificial engine sound, I mean in terms of tire/road noise and cabin sound insulation. I like my music at very low volume but the Rav4 for example is super loud after 65mph Considering a quieter replacement and I really like the Match-E 😏

Just had my tires rotated at the dealer for 30 bucks 17k miles on my GT Performance. Summer tires still rated "4" by the dealer with me bracket racing it on the weekend. I'm very impressed with the cost savings!
  • @ronaldwatson7464
I have a VW ID.4 and you can't rotate the tires because the front and rear are different sizes. My rear tires lasted for 40000 miles and my front tires lasted 48000. Note its rear wheel drive.

Ty for ur great videos, I'm actually signed up for mach-e back in Feb but still w8ing for it ( every day its getting postponed :/ ). i have a question for u, if u can test it out on mach-e, i checked all over internet couldn't find it. what would happen if u ignore the hands free alarm ( the eyes on the road error) , what would happen if u ignore that alarm for long time? i saw Tesla slow down the car and put in park with emergency lights on after 3 alarm ignored. Ty

I had my Mustang Mach E Route One Since November 8th. my stocks still good from day one. I order some after Marker 20 inch rims from ford with wider tires. I didn’t like the slim tires that came with this EV.
  • @BobbyG3.14
I’m really looking into getting one, just worried about dealer mark up

On the comments you made about brakes. I have a Ford Fusion Energi with 100k miles that has never needed brake pads replaced. That's with driving probably 60/40% hybrid/ev. The Energi has sort of a one pedal mode in EV if you run it in L, but I have always run it in D. So you're probably spot on saying this won't need brakes for at least 100k.
  • @EricFDrums
Never thought about regenerative braking saving brakes. Does it really do that? If so that would be cool as hell.
  • @ronmorrell9809
I laughed at the statement that washer fluid is the only fluid. The bottom part of the screen was showing the coolant overflow bottles. It also has brake fluid. My dealer wants me to have them change the fluid lubricating the reduction gears & differential.
  • Like anything new is a high cost my first VCR cost me 700.00. Batteries prices will come down in the future. Thanks Semper Fi
