According to many ancient sources, Lingas stones were revered for their properties and the techniques used to create these seem to be lost to time.

    Look into sun dials and shadow clocks. With a shadow you can tell the time of day, season or even the time of the year. Native Americans would trace the shadow of a tree or hill cast onto a cliff face as the sun moved from month to month. India has parks with many different designs their ancestors used. Have fun😊👍
