CNN's ratings dropped significantly after the presidential debate, with primetime ratings falling 92% and a 96% decline in the 25-to-54 demographic. This sharp decrease is attributed to viewer dissatisfaction with the debate's format and content, along with broader changes in media consumption habits.

This is what happens when everything you report is a lie you created.
  • @Tonymanero1960
If only CNN, MSNBC, MSN, Disney, The Washington Post,...and The New York Times would go out of business.
  • @BassboatRadio
Translation: When you lie to people, they stop listening to you! What a surprise!
  • Imagine how low the ratings would be if CNN wasn’t turned on in every airport.
  • @jimfesta8981
If CNN were totally dependent on advertising revenue, they'd be out of business.
  • @TheReneex
CNN got rid of all of their top male anchors and replaced them with a prime-time line-up of woke. DEI females like Abby Phillip, Kaitlyn Collins, and Laura Coates. None of them have been able to make a dent in their ratings!
  • I am a boomer. I have a friend who is 55 and actually said: "Social media should be heavily censored. We should all get our news from the MSM because they get paid to tell the truth." I laughed at him.

It is what it is.......cnn should practice journalism the way they" supposed do". The most trusted name in news my ass
  • @Kaiza5150
Stop watching cable all together people. Its all lies and advertising. Disconnect and stop consuming "The Product"
  • Fire people? All they have to do is instruct their employees to do actual journalism and to tell the truth.
  • @BP12ification
It’s the fallout from people realizing you’ve lied to them for years.
  • @stanhill3980
We were tired of lies. Where is truth and integrity ???

How can you be having layoffs in the middle of a Presidential election? Back in the day CNN used to hire people who had "it". Wolf Blitzer, Greta Van Susteren, Paula Zahn, these people just had a watchability. It didn't have to hit you like a freight train, you don't have to be Billy Crystal hosting the Oscars, you don't have to be Dave Chappelle on Netflix, you just had to be somebody the audience liked watching. PBD has it, that's why people watch Valuetainment. But Don Lemon and Brian Stelter make my skin crawl, they creep me out to look. And those were supposed to be their stars? Whoever runs CNN these days does not even understand the basics of television.
  • The main takeaway is 83,000 people 25-54 years old watch primetime CNN. It's truly a minuscule portion of the population
  • I was brainwashed by CNN until like 6-7 years ago. What changed was I decided “I’m going to start clicking o. These links that they put into the articles that supposedly lead to the sources that show the assertion is correct”. Like 95% of the time the links just go to something that doesn’t support their assertions at all. It was crazy to see they just linked stuff to make it look more well researched. It’s wild how little effort they put into everything

When your product/service you are selling is based solely on trust, selling lies is like running a food truck that sells crap on a plate. Only the extremely stupid will remain customers.
