100 push ups,100 sit ups,100 squats,10km run, every day made Joe lose his hair and turned him into One Kick Man!

The reason I love the JRE podcast is that he’s honest about himself. This is so great. The only way to get better as a human being is to be humble and know your weakness. Not many people have that level of introspection.

The most important discipline in his martial art background is: DMT

Imagine Joe fighting while commentating his own fight. “Headki..” 😂
  • @Ashutt92
“Kareem jabbars are good” -Santino (totally went over joe’s head)

I really commend Joe for openly admitting that the sport he spent years mastering is incomplete and flawed when it comes to a real all out fight. Honestly shocked me he was so open regarding that. Good on joe. Alot of guys when they have dedicated their lives to a sport they will not under any circumstances allow anyone to discredit it and even stretch the truth to make sure that the sport they do is ultimately the best even if it's not. Just look at Steven segal. Everyone knows in a real fight, the discipline he's trained in he basically comes across like he could beat anyone up anywhere in the world and shuts down anyone that says otherwise. But I'm glad joe isn't like that and says it like it is. Big respect

"You think that's boxing until someone pops you with a double jab left hook"
  • Id never want to take a leg kick from joe especially after watching his kicks that sound like gunshots
  • @jbossnack
you're an honest man Joe...your description of TKD being incomplete is so true...and that's exactly why Bruce Lee went his own direction to incorporate the best of all disciplines...would be awesome if he could see MMA today
  • Joe is so freaking humble, that didn't mention he has three black belts
  • @juanwalker7424
Exactly what I discovered. Taekwondo is absolutely phenomenal when you fight at distance. But when they close the gap, you’re fucked.
  • @indacoma
We should just call Joe One Kick Man

Good to see Paul Felder on the podcast
  • "If someone kicks you in a fist fight".... It was probably the most interesting man in the world..
  • I wish Joe would put together a high-quality video of ALL his kicking techniques. I've seen the footage that everyone else has, but it would nice with proper camera work and lighting, and him not having to wipe the sweat off the floor every minute. When a guy like GSP says Joe's spinning back kick is the best he's ever seen, that's a serious statement and compliment. He's a great teacher, so it would make for an excellent reference and contribution to martial arts. And for those who don't know, they'd be amazed.

The ability that he has to be able to realize the weaknesses he possesses and fix them is amazing. A lot of people are to proud to do this.

My martial arts philosophy is simple If someone is trying to harm you ,you better be willing to inflict greater harm faster without hesitation
