I never thought I'd be such a massive Strickland fan. He's so honest, and respect the fact that he's changed and acknowledges the difference between who he was and who he is. If you can't respect a person who can do that, then who can you respect?

Dude said he was a former racist and I instantly became a fan. Takes balls to admit that and bigger balls to reform it and still be yourself

It's hard to dislike Sean. He's a genuine guy, you can't help but appreciate him.

This was some legit good editing. Told a good story from a certain perspective. Good Style, just showing clips that flow together in an understandable way.

Strickland utilizes the Philly shell in a sport where nobody uses it or sees it on a regular basis. When done properly, it is incredibly hard to land clean on someone using it.

Strickland is everything We wanted Colby to actually be

One of the most impressive performances ever. He dominated Izzy.
  • Strickland might be the only time I’ve ever been right about a fighter becoming champ. I was wrong about predicting fighters like Brandon Thatch, Justin Scoggins, Jimmie Rivera - who woulda all immediately fell off in the UFC. However back around 2018 I said he would be a champ someday, so I’ll take my single W lol

Sean Strickland has been sparring high level pro boxers for years. He school's them all even the undefeated ones. He's not got crazy power but his technique is levels above anyone else in the UFC when it comes to standup.

Easy win for Strickland. DuPleis doesn’t have the gas tank to hang with Strickland and DuPleis gets hit a lot , Strickland by tko. Whatever advice Alex Perira gave or whatever he taught Sean, it was life changing 100%

Bruce Lee Quote “I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000” I think that’s what we saw here. Sean Strickland neutralized Izzy‘s attacks more effectively than most of us expected. I felt like I was watching Cody Garbrandt versus Dominic Cruz again. There knocked down in the first round was immediately impressive, but the follow up rounds were just crazy. Sean Strickland looked like he had no damage. Good defense/movement with solid one twos and a teep kick down the middle. Nothing complicated whatsoever. I know people hate Izzy, because he kind of like molested his dog… god that is going to be his downfall if it hasn’t been already… But I still would like to see a rematch because I’d be curious if Izzy could put something together against Sean. Sean seems like this perfect antidote to Israel’s power. Take away Israel’s kicks, and now he has the box with you.
