‘Uncle Brian’s Abattoir’ is available on the Trampolene album 'Love No Less Than A Queen'.

‘Uncle Brian’s Abattoir’ was written and recorded during the Corona Virus Lockdown of 2020, Jack recorded his spoken word piece on his phone in Swansea, sent it to producer Mike Moore in London who added the music and then forwarded it to Peter Doherty in Normandy who added vocals on his phone.

The video was edited together from footage shot on phones in The Mumbles, Swansea (Jack) and Etretat, Normandy (Peter) by Katia de Vidas.

I thank everyone involved for that little lockdown-light! Singing Peter warms my heart, he is brilliant and smart. Please be safe in normandy, enjoy your time and bonne la vie! Can't wait to see your cherub face back on stage - with you, world's a better place. Maybe soon in germany? (i know it is not normandy) Somewhere near frankfurt/m. would be fierce... but so long: Cheers! Little sunday-poem for Peter.
  • This is one amazing song. I’ve not felt like this about a track since Neil Youngs-Old Man. It gets under your skin.

Every now and then you hear a piece of music that hits you like a metaphysical gut punch. This did that for me, beautiful track 👍
