-Improved audio, now in stereo
-Improved visuals
-Upgraded to 1080p60 for videos that support the framerate
-Balanced audio
-Fixed several noteworthy typos and alignments with texts
-Updated to the week of Mar 4. 2023

As a side note, I want to talk about the remaster of this video as well as the future of this channel, and the impact the old #1 video had on my channel. This remaster was just like what I did all those years ago when I set out as the first person to successfully publish every #1 hit from start to finish without breaking it up into parts; just one long, continuous stretch. Most people broke their videos into parts and I hadn't really seen anyone upload the #1s before the 70s, so it was my mission to deliver. Since it was the first time doing something like this, there obviously were several issues when I published it. In this remaster, I set out to fix those problems and I really hope that I didn't make any spelling errors in the video. If I did, please let me know so next time I can narrow down which parts I made errors on and correct them. As for the video itself, I recreated the whole video from scratch. I did not have any clips saved from the previous video (it wouldn't have mattered since they were 30fps anyways). Every clip in this video was rerecorded, edited, mixed, etc. However, this time around, I had noticed there was a larger variety of clips from older songs with better quality than the first time I did this project. Unfortunately, several clips I had used in the first video have now disappeared and there is no footage of the same clip on several songs. If I ever come across them when I update this video next year, I will include them, but that is what you should expect when dealing with YouTube and copyright. Also, in terms of the copyright system: my video was taken down and not allowed in any country in the world due to copyright. That is why my original video is no longer up on the site, and I am the only one that can access it. I made a community post sometime ago explaining the situation and deleted the post several weeks after. In case anyone was wondering what happened to it, there's your answer. Moving on, in terms of the future of the channel, I am still committed to do Every #5s, 6s, etc. at least until #10s. Eventually, and I mean in the far far future, I will reach the end with every #100s, but that is a daunting task for another day. In terms of success, I hope that this video reaches the heights, maybe even more, of its predecessor. The original video before it was removed had almost 300k views, 5.2k likes, and 1.1k comments which is insane!!! Thank you everyone that viewed, liked (and disliked), and commented on the video no matter what it was. It really means a lot and I never expected it to blow up the way that it did. Before the video I only had a measly 38 subscribers and posted Geometry Dash content. Due to that video and subsequent others, I gained 1.6k subscribers in about a year! Thank you so much. For this year, I want to at least make videos up to every #10s, as well as other little projects along the way. Cheers to a great 2023...

I, AS THE INDIVIDUAL, WILL NOT MAKE ANY MONEY WHATSOEVER OFF OF THIS VIDEO. THIS VIDEO IS STRICLY FOR ENTERTAINMENT AND WAS A PROJECT I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON FOR FUN. ENJOY!

Every single #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 from the very beginning up until this past week.

From the weeks of Aug 4. 1958 to Mar 4. 2023, there have been over 1,000 songs to have graced the top spot for at least one week. This video is a compilation of all of those songs; from the very beginning to the present.
Music has really changed over the past decades, and this is represented within this video. It is really interesting and entertaining to see which songs have reached #1 within the US. I made sure this time that I could get the best possible audio for many songs that were questionable in quality last time.

This is the biggest video I have ever worked on, and rightfully so. I have the spreadsheet for every #1 linked below so that you can check it out. I also have the biggest hits of each year since some weren't in this video due to them never reaching #1.

Thank you for watching, I appreciate it very much. If you made it this far and through the whole video, I congratulate you.

Stay safe.

Hey Jude was number one when I was born. No wonder I love the Beatles.

Born in the 60's, grew up throughout 60's/70's/80's....Geezzz, how lucky I am.

Someone said that when you hit 40, you realize that all the popular music coming out now is garbage. From this video, it's an understandable stereotype. I can see how Gen-X thinks today's "autotune" music is bad, how Boomers think '80s synth-pop is bad, how the WWII generation thought Elvis-style early rock and roll was bad. I'm interested to see what Gen Z/Millennials will think of music in the 2040s.

I am old, so I know almost all of these songs! Of course, I am partial to the songs from the times when I was young and was more energetic! Great job!!!

There is one band that had the most significant influence and that was The Beatles. When came to the U.S. in 1964, they just dominated the charts that year and in 1965. Not only that, right after they came ever noticed the change of music the following year in 1965. Newer sound of music came, new bands and artists came every year. The Beatles all together revolutionized music.

From 1964 to 1969 the Supremes had 12 number 1 hits right up there with the Beatles. The Supremes were the Queens of the 1960s and no other girl group came close to all the things they had accomplished during those 5 years.

I just watched my entire life pass before my eyes and ears. Loved this and am sharing!
  • The Beatles sound is really different from many bands in the 60's. They have new sound that is alive not dull. Different voices of vocals, guitar rift, drum beats, styles make the Beatles unique

As a guy who grew up in the 80’s I’m obviously extremely partial to that decade of music but, my God, I absolutely LOVE 60’s music! Would’ve loved to have been able to experience it first hand

Holy crap man!! That was a lot of work!! Thanks for the effort, you could really hear the change in music around '64 when The Beatles hit.

Six decades and two British Invasion periods:1964-68 and 1983-87. After the late '90s music became very samey!

As an 80s baby, I believe 1987 was the 80s best. As far as the 90s, 1992-1994 and 1997 were the best. After 2001, music stopped being magical and became hit or miss ...
