Lyrics:

Verse 1:
We're waiting every night
to finally roam and invite
newcomers to play with us
for many years we've been all alone

We're forced to be still and play
The same songs we've known since that day
An imposter took our life away
Now we're stuck here to decay

Pre-Chorus:
Please let us get in!
don't lock us away!
We're not like what you're thinking

We're poor little souls
who have lost all control
and we're forced here to take that role

We've been all alone
Stuck in our little zone
Since 1987

Join us, be our friend
or just be stuck and defend
after all you only got

Chorus: x2
Five Nights at Freddy's
Is this where you want to be
I just don't get it
Why do you want to stay

Verse 2:
We're really quite surprised
We get to see you another night
You should have looked for another job
you should have said to this place good-bye

It's like there's so much more
Maybe you've been in this place before
We remember a face like yours
You seem acquainted with those doors

-Pre-Chorus
-Chorus

To think, 9 years ago we just had this one song for the theme of a video game and now it's been put into the movie! We've come full circle in this amazing journey as the FNAF community!
  • Hearing this being apart of the actual FNAF movie we’ve waited years for, was truly magical and awe inducing. I’m glad it’s fully cemented in the franchise’s history, well deserved and it capped off the movie brilliantly!

9 years later and this song still slaps harder than my dad's belt. Great job. You've impressed me... again.

I was honestly really happy to hear this song being played in the FNAF movie, it really brings back all the good memories I had playing the FNAF games when I was young. Also congrats to you guys on making it into the official movie!

Hearing this in the cinema was probably the best thing I could ask for congrats to you and Scott and everyone who supported the series all these years.

    あぁ、いつ聞いても凄くいい曲だ……まさか映画のエンディングで流れるとは思っていませんでした。 映画のエンディング曲は何かと期待していましたが、この曲が流れてくれて本当にびっくりしたし嬉しかったです。

9 years later and this was used inside the official movie. That’s honestly such a big accomplishment that I’m sure many content creators could hope to achieve someday. Applause to you guys for making it so far 👏👏👏

Crazy how a lot of us grew up with this song since it was released basically along with the game, and now there's a movie. Thank you Scott Cawthon for everything you've done for our community.

  • This song is not outdated at all, and is preserved perfectly, nostalgia is a great thing.

Hearing this song in the end credits literally almost had me crying. I couldn’t believe I still remembered all the lyrics. Nine years I waited for that movie. It wasn’t everything I wanted, but it was enough. This franchise is always going to have such a special place in my heart. So much love <3

Nine years later, you know your song's made it when it makes it into the movie. An honor well-deserved ❤
  • Let's be honest here, everyone who seen the movie in the theater searched for this song at home. When this song started playing, i literally almost cried. It was surreal. And so many memories just popped into my mind... This game was my childhood. This song was my childhood. This was my everything. Thanks for making this amazing song 9 years ago and congrats on getting it in the movie!!!

i remember the popularity of FNAF for the first time in 2014. It achieved great popularity, especially in the second game. i was in middle school at that time, i loved this song very much. i have been a boy who spent most of my childhood and adolescence with FNAF. this song inevitably makes me emotional. It makes me very happy to see kids who are still FNAF fans. i will be 20 this year and thank you Scott for leaving an FNAF to the next generation.
