  • I love how James is either “hope this doesn’t make anyone mad in the comments” or “it’s my show I’ll do what I want” and there’s no in between
  • I dated a girl whose grandfather was in this movie. When Barry is at the gym, and running around looking for who took his stuff, he asks the old man(my ex's Grandpa) if anyone else is there, which he replies "just me and you kid". I always thought that was cool
  • I find it so funny that the 4 actors from Scooby Doo have been in horror movies
  • I never understood why the poor dude in the fishery got killed. I mean, my guy was driving down a road, saw some teenagers getting sick, and drove away. Then he was assaulted at work by the said "sick" kid, then murdered. Like geez.

The jump scare ending was not ignored in the sequel. She is attacked in the opening scene and wakes up and tells a friend she had another nightmare and her friend asks, "Was it the one in the shower again?" Guess she never really got a pool party invitation which is sad.

So are we not gonna talk about that “get to the numberrrrrs” shot that showed us more of his set up ? It’s cool.

I really would've liked to have seen Helen survive this movie, because her whole chase scene was amazing, in the way that it made Helen different that her character of the dumb vain blonde.
  • @SuperSpamGuy
Still blows my mind that Sarah Michelle Geller and Freddie Prinze Jr. Met on the set of this movie, dated and got married a few years later, than starred in Scooby-Doo as Fred and Daphne

"Oh my god we hit a boot!" "Where's the foot?!"
  • @Blitzo8390
We need a compilation of every time James says “That’s nice”
  • @Levi-rc8kh
Everyone always asks "what you did last summer". But nobody asks "HOW were you doing last summer" 😔
  • A kid came up with the " what are you waiting for?" Scene? That's so wholesome. Or should I say... "That's nice."
  • They should make a 4th called “seriously I’m so not getting over what you did last summer”
  • Last Summer is actually a prequel where Fred and Daphne were merely rookie detectives

Honestly I always love the amount of energy James has. It is so great to see how excited he gets or at least shows. Makes me really feel like he loves what he does, and I'm glad about that. If he doesn't actually love it, then that is some GRADE A acting right there.
  • Fun fact: Lois Duncan actually had no idea they were making a film about her book, and when she watched in the theater, she was really disappointed because it was nothing like the book. The book was not a slasher, not even close. They could have at least told her.
  • I love that James' "GET TO THE NUMBERSSSS" shot was a achieved by Chelsea in a step ladder filming him 😂
  • I feel like this movie is a lot more intelligent that people give it credit for. Like when Julie finds Max's body in the trunk, someone drives by in a truck and honks at her. From how fast the body is cleaned from the trunk, and the pictures in the fisherman's boat at the end, I think that person driving by honking is supposed to be Ben Willis. There are actually a handful of small things like this sprinkled throughout the film that makes it better if you catch it. The original script was a tad better though. Helen was supposed to be a pill popper and Barry was suicidal which added credence to people believing Barry was trying to kill himself in his car after the gym and Helen "cutting her own hair" and them smashing the mirror in a moment of craze. Also, pills were supposed to scatter across the stage from Helen when Barry gets attacked which gives a reason for the crowd to grab Helen and the officer not to believe her.
