My god, can we get a warning? How is this publicly on YouTube? Jezus.

Mia pissed me off so much in this scene. As an older sister I would never forgive a “friend” for endangering my brother like that
  • @NikoZguri
the fact that this is Joe Bird's FIRST major role is insane. this kid is a natural! he's going places
  • @RLNSJ
I hated Mia's character just after this scene when she let Riley suffer because she believed it's her mom.
  • A scene like this (and the scene in the hospital bathroom) is A LOT for any actor to take on, let alone a teenager. So for Joe Bird to have given this fantastic a performance is no easy feat.

I felt so bad for this kid. He was supposed to do 50 seconds and got completely fucked over
  • I don’t understand how this kid acted so well, especially while depicting grief. I have lost my mum and this felt real.

If Jade didn’t put her hand there Riley would have died and been trapped in that hellish dimension forever being tortured
  • @willianbizarro
What a performance when Riley was "possessed" by Mia's mom, full of emotions. Masterclass from Joe Bird.

I feel like this scene can be a metaphor for a young kid wanting to try drugs and, in this case since he breaks the 90 second rule, overdoses and fucks himself up. This whole movie has layers to it and after 3 viewings it just never gets old, or easier to watch.

DUDE ok that effect when he tried to pull out his own eyeball actually made me physically sick. I am not a squeamish person at all I’m pretty sure this is the first time movie effects have ever gotten to me like that. Holy shit.

I had not seen a movie in theater for a long time, but I decided to see this one out of boredom. There were only 3 people in the theater. The scene before this when everybody took turn, I was like "Is this supposed to be scary?" Well, then this part escalated pretty quickly lol. All actors in this movie are really good. The facial expression and acting are so convincing especially Mia and Riley. Great job.

Jade saved his life right there... Truly unsettling when i saw this the first time.

My friend and I did a podcast episode talking about this movie, and I think that we realized that the hand represents addiction. It’s like when you go to a party and people are peer pressuring you to try to drink or smoke or do other drugs. And the most innocent kid ends up getting fucked up to the point he needs to be hospitalized. I wonder if the Phillipou brothers saw something like this happened at a party and decided to make a movie around it.

The scene where she goes and tries to find him while he's in the hospital and when it showed all the ghosts torturing him was pretty wild. Feel like the movie could've done much better with the ending but all in all it was a good movie.
  • @OMGGITSDAVID
The concept of this movie was really good. I enjoyed it. Hard to say so about a lot of horror movies.
  • @4end
one of the most disturbing scenes i’ve seen in a movie
  • @Duyuknowdawae
Not a cellphone in sight, they’re just living in the moment 😍
  • @IamSoup09
I cried at this part 🧍🏽‍♀️ and his hospital scene. He's definitely a very good actor! Also, the sfx artist did not play.
  • You can feel the spirit of Rackaracka in this film in the good way, glad that they found their way into the cinema industry and Joe Bird to bring a hell of a first performance
