Late in the 2003 season, Wests Tigers coach Tim Sheens selected an 18-year-old student from Keebra Park High School to make his debut off the bench against the Knights at Campbelltown Stadium.

There was certainly plenty of promise about the young Kiwi kid, but was Benji Marshall able to stand up on the big stage?
