2024-07-24に共有
In a far flung corner of the Mortal Realms, anguish and misery reign, as a procession of Nighthaunt drag poor unfortunate souls to the bleak realms of Shyish. With the Mortarch of Grief herself leading the morbid parade, the reap a heavy toll upon the land. But  the capricious whims of Tzeentch have brought his own Covens to this Realm, seeking to burn away the misery, alongside whatever last remnants of sanity yet remain. Flames burn brightly and reality shifts around the minions of the God of Magic, but can their inscrutable plans come to fruition in the despair ridden forms of the denizens of the underworld?

  • You guys make the best batreps out there. I really hope AoS does well for y'all! I wanna keep supporting you on this game!!
  • @EgXP
@11:11 - If I remember correctly, the Anglo-Saxon word for that animal is Cu (which becomes "Cow") whereas the Norman/"French" word for the animal is "Bouef" (which becomes "Beef"); essentially, the people raising the animal named it when it's alive, and the people eating it when it's cooked named it on the plate.

The right amount of maniacal laughing and screaming in this one. Just the right amount!

Back when the french took over England the upper class was obviously french and the peasents were anglosaxon. Thats why a cow stays a cow until it ends up in a noblemans kitchen where it would be called beef (or the old french word for boeuf at least). The same goes for pig (porc), chicken or other birds (poultry) and probably more or less any other animal one could eat
  • Katie's new hair style makes her look like a bass player for a mental band. 🤘 Get in there girl 🤘
  • Hey i don't go here typically because i don't play 40k, but i wanted to say that i love y'all's dynamic and these armies look absolutely incredible! The level of detail and the contrast is just absolutely superb
  • Can we all agree that Katie is Rocking that look?!
  • @dmeep
Oh nice to see some nighthaunts for a change
  • Great BatRep using armies I haven't seen as much of. :) Love the energy and banter.
  • @spice6828
I don't know anything about AoS, but those armies look incredible.
  • To eat beef etc is because when the normans came over they did not change the words the nobility used to call food. But they did not use the saxon words. The trend of the peasantry would slowly warp and the old saxon words for beef would disappear. It was also a way to separate nobility and peasants, e.g. the peasants would look after the cows but the nobles got to eat beef.
  • 40:30. No unit can use 2 command abilities same phase. Hence no rerolling counter charge
  • Absolutely delightful game with both of their frustration with dice rolls making me laugh more than once.
  • @opesam
40:50 are you able to reroll the Curseling countercharge? Wouldn't that mean he'd have used 2 commands in that phase (1.0 Advanced rules)?
  • @Adclif
The lord of change looks great.
