Been watching Maangchi since 2017 and I absolutely love that she even films it when she washes the vegetables, her hands and the chopping board. It really makes me feel involved in the entire process. Love the videos Maangchi!

i was literally browsing for gyeran mari recipes yesterday and when i saw maangchi uploads one made my heart super happy!!!!
  • After watching this video I had to make it . I did it turned out beautifully. The only thing I did different was add garlic and the American in me wouldn't let me skip melting sharp cheddar cheese on top. Super easy, delicious, and filling.
  • Maangchi just made my life a whole lot easier. I just realized I neglected to make myself dinner earlier, and wasn't sure what to make. I'm going to have this alongside my homemade pork mandu, some ramyun, kimchi and rice.

This is one of my favorite side dishes. My mom still makes it for me whenever I visit her. After all these years, she still sees me as a child, LOL (she's in her late 70s). I love her version of course, since I grew up with it. Using scallions and 김 (seaweed, nori) and some other veggies, it really hits the spot. All I need is steamy white rice, kimchi, and rolled omelette. Simple, yet perfect meal.

I used to make these and even with not much experience, they turned out looking decent and tasting good ☺️ Love your story about the grandma.

What I like about your recipes are that they are small portions and make me want to try them. Large amounts overwhelm me just watching.

I always wonder how this was made! my husband's uncle's wife made similar and now I know you have to add little egg mix by little egg mix while rolling. I want to try this recipe for sure and later give to my son when he attends primary school. There are some dishes, I wish I learned from my grandma, but I am thankful you are sharing what you learned from your grandma!
