An ongoing study utilizing the most recent scientific data on dinosaur vocalizations. Sounds are produced by myself and digitally workshopped from modern non-syrinx based avian reptiles. Using skull and olfactory cavity proportions, one can attempt to recreate the flow of sound, frequency, and volume of each animal. Much study is required for each particular species, and often several phases are trashed due to general unlikelihood. The final results are based on acute representations of what sounds would be most comfortable and base-line for each animal. Video also includes other reptiles, even though they are much more difficult to produce accurately.

Aim: To be more sophisticated than Julia Clarke's rendition, which included: combining the booming call of the Eurasian bittern with the growling vocalizations of the Chinese crocodile, and then scaling it up to T-rex’s estimated size (about 12 meters or 40 feet long), what they got was a ominous low rumble.

babe wake up, half an hour of dinosaur sounds just dropped
  • @R.parrish48
The fact that he got all these guys in the studio is crazy 🤯
  • @IGameChangerI
I do like how the largest land animals that ever lived probably maybe sounded like walking apocalypses
  • @CuratorOfCurios
What's terrifying about some of these vocalizations is you wouldn't just hear them, you would also feel them throughout your body like standing next to a loud speaker at a concert or festival.
  • @quadnod4605
Love that you added a human for size comparison. Really drives home how otherworldly some of these animals are, combined with the sounds.
  • @nubbyboah
I ADORE the Spinosaurus' "ghost laugh" so much. I don't remember the bird it's based off but it's call is often heard in wetlands which is fitting for the Spino itself.

This is what it's like sleeping at your friend's house when you're younger and their dad fell asleep on the couch
  • @squart1398

I adore these sounds. They are so haunting, especially Dilophosaurus.

This is legit good ASMR, and also triggers the primal instinct to stay alert when a large animal is nearby. It's great for staying focused on tasks when I'm tired. Thanks!

I've been in love with dinosaurs since I was a little girl and absolutely love this! Thank you so much for making this wonderful masterpiece! Ironically, I've been playing it almost every night to help me fall asleep. I find dinosaur vocalizations rather soothing.
  • It's too bad we'll never get to see this amazing creatures up close. But their sounds are somewhat fascinating, terrifying, and incredible. Keep it up Studio! 🦕 👍

Imagine ur camping alone and u hear dilophosaurus screamming
  • @Pipkiablo
Interesting to note, that cursed hiss-screeching sound of the Spinosaurus made my guinea pig jump and he started looking around and hid, so I think he thought there was a predator stalking him. He didn't react to any of the other sounds while I was watching this video, so that one probably sounded the most like a modern day predatory bird to a prey species.
  • I'm hoping this gets a ton of views later since these sounds are great it just shows how we view dinosaurs differently compared to Jurassic Park.

My top 3 of the creepiest ones, if i would hear them without seeing anything would be 3. Argentinosaurus(18:42), The beginning sounds like an alien ship is coming towards you and with this gurgle sound before he screams. Like Sirene head would walk out of the dark woods 2. Dilophosaurus (6:48), beautiful melody behind a deadly animal, nothing more to say 1. Mosasaurus (31:26). imagine being on a boat alone, fishing and then you hear that sound. I would just accept my fate before pooping in my pants
