Today we're at Gordon Ramsay's Street Kitchen, where for £17 you can eat as much pizza as you like for two hours...what's more, they keep score of the record number of slices eaten by a single customer in one sitting, and if you can best it, you get your name atop the leaderboard and some free swag!

Originally, I was under the impression that the record was 18 slices (because that's what it says on the restaurant's website) but upon catching a glimpse of the leaderboard...I soon discovered that the record was actually a much more formidable 38 slices...

I've got a crew with me for today's video, which I know some people don't particularly like, since everything feels a little different, but it's a nice change of pace and more than anything a necessity when filming an episode where the staff members are serving food from start to finish....either way, I hope you enjoy it :)

Evening all! Thanks for joining me for another episode. I’m indebted to you all for coming back so often to watch the videos; it really means a lot… I filmed tonight’s with a crew, which I know isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s always a nice change of pace, especially when the staff are serving up food from start to finish. I hope you enjoy it, but either way feel free to let me know down in the old comments section. I hope I’ll see you this time next week when we’ll be trekking through New England in search of gluttonous glory…and free t-shirts. ‘Til then, stay insatiable, lots of love, your old mate BMF ❤️ *Also, for the record, this video is not sponsored. I don’t do sponsored/commissioned content of any kind, just for clarity. For some reason whenever I shoot with a crew, I notice a few comments suggesting I’ve taken a bung or something…I haven’t…I don’t…wrong channel 😆

Imagine Gordan walks in and sees you dipping a slice of pizza into a sticky toffee milkshake 😂

When I was a student, a friend of mine went to the 'All you can eat' Pizza buffet at Pizza Hut, and got asked to leave after 18 slices. It's good to see Mr Ramsay's place make good on the deal.

I’ve never seen such a good looking pizza in my life. Not even on TV including Gordon’s shows. That goes to show that he’s not holding his guests to a higher standard than his employees or to a standard that’s unachievable 👌🏼
  • The gamer in me is seeing optimization with how long it takes to make each pizza. Faster pizzas give more time toward eating. If you are concerned about flavor fatigue, starting with a pizza that takes longer to cook will save time on the onset. This also ignores any advantage there might be with starting with a smaller pizza first, since there is a major uptick in the time it takes to finish each pizza. And also assumes each pizza will take the same time to cook, regardless of what's going on in the kitchen. 1st pizza done at 1:51:17. 8 minutes 43 seconds to finish. 2nd pizza ready at 1:46:20. 4 minutes 57 seconds after 1st pizza was done. 2nd pizza done at 1:38:16. 8 minutes 4 seconds to finish. 3rd pizza ready at 1:33:04. 5 minutes 12 seconds after 2nd pizza was done. 3rd pizza done at 1:23:33. 9 minutes 31 to finish. 4th pizza ready at 1:19:40. 3 minutes 53 seconds after 3rd pizza was done. It was quick. 4th pizza done at 1:06:55. 12 minutes 45 seconds to finish. 5th pizza ready at 1:00:50. 6 minutes 5 seconds after 4th pizza was done. 5th pizza done at 0:35:20. 25 minutes 30 seconds to finish. 6th pizza ready at 0:27:03. 8 minutes 17 seconds after 5th pizza was done. 6th pizza finished at 0:02:19. 24 minutes 44 seconds to finish. Since the 1st and 2nd pizzas were the same, we can assume it takes the same amount of time to cook the 1st pizza as the 2nd pizza. Now we can swap the 1st pizza with the 6th pizza, since that one took the longest to finish. We'll replace the time to cook the 6th pizza with the time to cook the 2nd. That saves 3 minutes 20 seconds. There was 2 minutes 19 seconds remaining at the end, with the saved time there's just enough left to cook another pizza and maybe finish an extra slice. Gaming.

Eating that much pizza is impressive, but what's truly amazing is how he keeps the beard so damn clean. That's a truly remarkable talent

I can't comprehend how 48 slices of pizza physically fit inside a human stomach
  • @MikeySkywalker
The fact that you let them choose the pizza topping is impressive. Respect.

In one episode, Adam called paprika spicy. That’s when I knew he couldn’t be trusted for how spicy food is lol.
  • @Dario-mn4fw

I really respect that he doesn't make a mess, doesn't leave a morsel, doesn't waste -- really shows a respect for the food he's eating and the establishment. Super cute, pleasant dude, subbed!
  • @evacarmella5902
I love how relaxed and unfazed he is as he does these challenges. It's fun to watch!
  • The fact that this amount of pizza would feed me for 2 weeks and this man put it down in 2 hours is beyond me.
