A great share , ironicaly , I , first see the Doors at a alnight gig in London , at the Roundhouse , with believe it or not Jefferson Airplane , (its on you tube ) ,they took it in turn , over two nights to play , each night a show , one playing support to the other over the 2 nights ! and the crazy think was , it was only £3 to get in , for 8 hours of music and magic ! Sadly as we all know , Jim died in Paris , on the 3/7/71 , ( ironicaly my 21st birthday ) , but the joy of living here and le Mans is , my family all get the chance to visit his resting place , where we get together to talk about Jim and his work , with lots of other fans of the Master creative Artist ! a great share with the world , thankyou , ritchie .
  • I can acknowledge The Doors as an extremely original band. People often point to Sgt Pepper as the point when pop music became art but The Doors debut was 6 months earlier and sounds even more radical. The trouble is I just don't like their music.
