DC-10 Tanker buzzed our house, before landing at San Bernardino Airport (formerly NORTON AFB) Yes ADS-B exchange showed the tanker took off from McClellan, circled a few times at Lake Elsinore. It was 1000 feet or less over the house. Thought WTH, I know the usual air corridors, and thought Military right away. Being a kid in the early 1960s, I thought maybe the Russians are coming, Cold War.
