In this dry fly tying tutorial Cheech ties the Mother Shucker. This is another simple yet effective driveway pattern from our friend Phil Bair. This fly has been in our bins for a few years and have consistently been a top seller for us, so we decided we needed to give it some love on our YouTube channel. This fly can be tied in multiple sizes and colors and during a midge hatch it’s really hard to beat one of these high floating, maintenance free dry flies. In this video, we will show you a proper hackle stacker technique that uses elastic material instead of monofilament. Tie some up and poke some trout!

  • @TrueOpinion99
Tie that in a slightly larger size, add some legs, and I could see that being an awesome panfish fly.

That name reminds me of the harassment I received when I reported a fish kill of largely quillback carpsuckers over a scratchy radio.

Shut the wuck was that? That stackle is hacked! When’s Cheek gonna tie his beard fly? I’m staying tuned…
  • Why run advertisements if you are out of stock on what you are promoting? I understand you are a cottage brand but damn why have it on your site????? Some random utah fly fishing company is in my algorithm bc i need new boots and your site is literally baiting customers. Do better.
