Huge thanks to Huel for sponsoring this video. The new iPhones are always some of the most popular devices of the year - and this year with the release of a new Titanium body - the question of durability is even more prevalent. The cheaper iPhones, the iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Plus are made from aluminum, but are they durable? The only way to find out the durability of the new iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Plus is with a JerryRigEverything Durability Test!

  • Imagine you're a beautiful iPhone 15, saying goodbye to all your friends in production line, getting packaged, excited to start a new life as helpful assistant to a nice person, keeping you warm and charged. And then your package gets opened and you see this guy looking down at you.... :D

These types of videos keep larger companies accountable. Love it.
  • @529Tempo
Have you considered building a rig to perform the bend tests more reproducibly? So that you can measure the forces applied up to the failure point - and rank phones accordingly by how much force they can take before breaking?
  • @novak.r
The Ceramic Shield upgrades are really underrated, kinda nuts how they manage to improve scratch resistance that much while still using glass
  • Never thought I'd see minor scratches not starting until a level 7. That's nuts
  • @arupmajumdar47
I feel like an underwater test or a splash test (based on the IP rating of the phone) should be necessary if the phone survives the bend test. To show if it really is capable of surviving the water
  • I love how Apple brought back the aluminum problems we had with the iPhone 6 and 7 where the bigger phones started to break, all started again with the iPad a few years back
  • @zenklar
Never even going to think about buying a phone unless it's been tested by Jerry and passed his tests
  • @RedNocturne
Great to see the glass FINALLY performing better from a scratch resistance perspective.
  • @colewelden
Just got myself the Dbrand Grip case for my S22 Ultra with your "ultra matte teardown" skin and I absolutely love it. I wasn't sure if would be as good as the OtterBox Defender I was replacing, but it definitely seems to be just as solid. The feel and the design are awesome. I have no doubt it will be a solid case for keeping the phone safe, and I love the look of your skin. I am amazed with the quality for the price. I absolutely love having the internals shown as externals. Stellar product, love the collab.

I burst out laughing at 5:50 "I would've [burned] longer but the apps started quivering and I am merciful. Sometimes". Your videos are an immensely entertaining and informative
  • @ajlphoto
The number and variety of creative dunks on the colours made this one of the funniest reviews to date 😂 Also, I'm pretty impressed at how well the phones held up!
  • @vyrron
Crazy how the most expensive one turned out to be the most fragile one too 💀
  • @VideoArcade
You have done the impossible…. You made a sponsorship ad interesting enough where I watched it. Now to buy and try it! Super job with the channel Zack!
  • @gregsimpson621
If I ever buy a new phone, which I rarely do, it has to be tested first by Zack. Thank you for all you do!!!
  • @StaleBiscuit
I would love to see you re-test the 15 Pro Max to see if it's something at least slightly consistent in production. I know it's still a small sample size, but it is double
  • Judging by many teardown videos from other creators, the reason why the 15 Pro Max back glass broke was due to it not having a metal plate adhered to it, unlike the base model 14 and 15’s. In PRG and another YouTuber’s teardown, the base model iPhone 14 and 15 have a metal plate glued to the interior side of the back glass. The 15 pro and pro max do not.
  • My current phone is Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and about to change my phone in a month with struggling about which phone to buy. This video definitely helps me to choose a phone in a month. I had used 7-8 different models of iPhones like 4,5,5s,6 7,8,10 and 11. When looking back all those iPhones, nothing really got innovated applied onto them with gradual increase in price accordingly. Probably, not you, iPhone 15 for me this time .
  • @jjlane9191
Currently rocking an iPhone 8. Yeah it runs in slow motion but it’s served me well. My current plan is to wait until Apple releases the 16 and then double my phone model because it just sounds funny.
