Litteraly makes your body shake with tears when you hear one on full afterburner going straight up above the crowd. One of the most viseral feelings ive ever had in my life.

I used to live at Hill AFB in Utah in '81-'83. I would ride my bike around the base and ride really close to the south end of the flight line where the jets take off. That's where the F-105's would pass maybe 200-300 feet above me. Beautiful site but it was the loudest sound ever!

I was at a air show at Lemore NAS. All the shows ended and people started packing up. All of a sudden f35 buzzed the crowd flying over and banked to the right so you could see the bottom of the aircraft horizontally. You could feel it in your chest. I'll never forget that. I just wished I had my camera going.
