I made my dream room in a storage unit

hi friends! Sorry I've been gone for a minute. I explain everything in the video, but hopefully y'all have been seeing that I'm posting more YouTube Shorts almost every day! I've been enjoying TikTok more (still hate it in many other ways), but I've been more motivated again to film. Happy New Year to you, and thank you for continuing to support me after all these years.

I think it's really cool of your manager to let you do this! I mean I don't know many people who able to literally decorate a storage unit & RECORD videos in it so that's awesome they let you do that! Also, I think we should 𝘽𝙚𝙚 able too see our little boy in the background a little more but that's just my opinion lol- But it's great to have you back Frederic! Have a happy new year too :)

I LOVE the old desk! I'm a sucker for old/antique furniture and I'm glad to see that I'm not the only gen z-er who likes that kind of stuff!

I think you should put a rug also in the room, and if you want put like other pictures or another tapestry on another wall and do like the whole room over time to extent that your able to, that would be cute 💕

Composition-wise, I think your setup looks really nice! My only recommendation is that you bring the tapestry lower, maybe even low enough that it reaches just above the floor since you'll be filming sitting on the floor. Also I know you said you want to use that tapestry (which is completely fine, it's very cute), but maybe even consider a larger tapestry that covers the entire wall? Either way, I just think the tapestry should be a bit lower to fill in the white space.

Super cute! My only recommendation would be to maybe get some shelves to go beside the desk that you can put plushes, art projects, and more on!

The space is coming together! I think (if possible) solid color backgrounds would be cool- maybe ones that match the general palette of the tapestry you have? You might be able to make someone out of those standing closet organizers/storage shelves or a tall clothes rack? Command hooks also might come in handy! A rug would be cute too but you’d probably want to be mindful of moisture/other things! Additionally probably keep an emergency flashlight in there in case someone unplugs the extension cord! Lol thats all I have! It was good seeing you and looking forward to new content!

I was questioning the setup at first… but I shouldn’t have its CUTE. The only thing I would say is to maybe move the tapestry down so it’s level with the desk but that’s just me. ❤

Social Experiment : I love this new setup it giving me so much nostalgia and 2017 Frederic (especially with this 10 minute video).
