The way he says Michelangelo is intoxicating.

I would say that the real revelation was slightly before this scene, when spoiler asks: "What door?" The rest is an extremely satisfying dramatic scene.

This... hurt. Like wow this was so good. But it hurt. Theresa's expression when she sees the sketches of Bernard is just that of confusion and disgust. And Bernard insisting he's real and his pain is real... just hurts. And it just gets worse/better from there.

When he said "Doesn't look like anything to me"... it's then when I was like "no way!"
  • I definitely did not see this coming. Even when he couldn't see the door that led to the basement I just rationalized it in my mind by saying "oh its just dark and that's why he missed it". Very nice twist, it is things like this that have me so engrossed in the show.

Anthony Hopkins deserves at least to be a contender for the Golden Globe and the Emmy for his epic and wonderful performance as Robert Ford.
  • @shadowfox662
So wanted to hear Ford say, "would you kindly..." to Bernard.

No question that Anthony Hopkins is a beast.  The actress who plays Theresa performance is amazing also.  Just the depth of emotional from a subtle gesture or the dawning realization of what's happening to her expressed in her eyes, is so engaging.  Sidse Babett is definitely worth paying attention to.  And Jeffrey Wright, just watching him say "my poor boy" is heart wrenching.  Love the show, can't miss TV.

This was the biggest gut punch in Season 1. I truly felt hurt finding out Bernard was a host.
  • @akuvisuri
The clip could actually start at the point where bernard asks "what door?"

I sat in complete amazement and stared into the distance for 2 minutes straight thinking about this scene. I turned to my father who thought I was being emotional and said this was the single greatest scene from a television show of all time

Hopkins is a beast, but i got to say, the way Knudsen says "You're a fucking monster." is so charged with all kinds of emotions, amazing.

Anthony Hopkins and Jeffrey Wright are suck good actors. Really good casting.
  • @NewfieParamedic
IMHO, I think the host being created right now is Hopkins' double and its the double that gets shot at the end of the season.
