I swear I was like "daaaaaaaamn" watching this for the first time when he said he was lying

Love the neat little effect with how Ford's face is half in darkness, really shows for the first time in the show that he is truly vulnerable when he has held the mantle of authority so far.

I like Ford’s intrigued face with his mouth slightly open.

I'm watching this scene now that it's season 3 and it makes so much more sense. Arnold tells young Robert "'If it's dead it can't hurt anyone anymore" and then Ford orchestrates his own death. Arnold inspires him even from the grave.

I'm surprised Ford wasn't more bothered by the fact his android lied.

the kid's name is robert, this is dr. ford's reflection of his young self including that whole family off the grid.

'If it was dead, it couldn't hurt anyone anymore' I feel a chill at that cold logic.

I think the boy is the only robot that ever lied in the Westworld. Perhaps the top of the consciousness pyramid is the ability to lie?

Anthony Hopkins is great as always but how were they able to cast Barron Trump as the robot boy? I didn't even know he was an actor!
