  • My husband and I have canoed almost 50 years but I had never heard of Wabakimi until I saw several of my favourite you tubers do trips there. Wonderful scenery, with portages for the young and strong. I can do kayaking day trips but at my age , arthritis and osteoporosis, I do not think I can do a long camping trip now. I just want to say. Don't wait to live your dreams.

The amount of dopamine that courses through my veins when I see 1+ hour long Lost Lakes videos is quite alarming. I never know when the videos are dropping so when they do it's just the most pleasant of surprises.
  • A great man displays character and ethics when no one is there to witness, That's who you are. Cheers and Thank you.
  • The cinematography on these videos just amazes me, and it only seems to keep getting better. It’s so hard to truly capture the beauty of these places, and seeing it on video will never capture it the way you experience it in person, but your videos get as close as any I’ve seen.

I really appreciate being able to tag along with you on these incredible trips you take. It must be a metric ton of extra work to bring us along, but I appreciate it so much, the feeling of getting out there and seeing these beautiful sunrise\sunsets. It holds me over until I can get my boots wet and eat my fair share of mosquitos. Absolutely incredible footage. Cheers.

You're a joyous soul Jorbathan, Wonderful video, new camera is crispy

I love the stylistic editing nuances of this film. Absolute beautiful immersive experience and privilege to be a part of. Amazing craftsmanship on so many levels. Love, love, loved it!!!! You are such an inspiration.
  • I love your ability to capture insects & small creatures with great framing. Idk how you find time to film everything. Also, after having watched Xander eat meals fit for a village, I laughed at you saying the breakfast hash/hamburgers were way too much for one sitting 😂
  • @aaronsuprick
Jon , your editing has become so top notch …no lie, best channel by far I watch them multiple times to get it all in…miss Erin on your adventures sometimes, but sure there are more to come . Scotch up, scotch down …cheers!

I love the way you craft the story of one man’s slow descent into raving madness.
  • Just want to say i appreciate your care for the nature that surrounds you. Barbless hooks, saving bugs, thanking the fish, etc. It’s refreshing to see an outdoorsmen like you and your appreciation for everything.
  • Thanks for the watch Jon, the solo trips you do are the most enjoyable for me :)
  • A fabulous trip that had so much variety. I love that you show us a bit of everything: scenery, sky, fishing, cooking, camps, wildlife, trees and plants. Just perfect!
  • “I love a place that makes me feel so beautifully lost”. Great quote and amazing video.
  • @SoloSchmitty
Jon, man you are firing on all cylinders! Sharp video, great story telling, epic locations! Glad your doing this full on these days! Keep it coming! Loving it!
  • Your videos are medicine for me. I like to keep a Lost Lakes video as an open tab for a week at a time and watch a portion each day, spreading it out a bit. A little dose of peace and tranquility at whatever moment I most need it. I go camping as often as I can, but they're just short little two nighters in more saturated areas. One day I would love to do the kind of trips that you do.
  • Thanks. I could watch these canoe trip videos for hours and hours on end. Hate when they are over.
  • @crabbydad8931

Thank you for respecting and honoring this sacred place. I visited in 2011. All Canadians will understand…this is true north.
