K24 Swapped GE Fit Road Tested
By Brian Gillespie and Aaron Gaghagen

OK, last time we got our K24 Fit running, but it wasn't quite ready for the streets. But now it is. We built the rest of the exhaust with a build-it-yourself kit finished off with a KTuned muffler that sounds great. So how much better is it to drive now with a TSX K24 power plant? Brian takes it for a rip and tests the acceleration with our AIM Solo to compare it with our other project cars such as the K24 swapped 8th gen Civic and Project Dadmobile.

You are exactly the type of neighbor I would love to have. So knowledgeable.
  • Honda did miss the mark on this car. They should have made an Si with the base RSX K20 that made 160hp like they did with the mid 2000's Civic hatch. That thing would have sold well!

A K24 swapped Honda Fit!? Hahahahaha wow, now that's a sleeper, that is awesome!!! If I were to meet that car on the road, I wouldn't even be able to tell that it's been swapped. You guys always do some new and interesting things with HONDAS!!!!

Hey Brian! I know I've been a pain in the ass before about getting the L15B7 swaps for the GD buttoned up, but I'm stoked that you are giving the love to the Fits. Some of us are predicting their future popularity and it's really promising.

I hope Brian and crew document the details of this build. Thank you for the content.

Having owned a b22 1992 hatchback , with type R drive train. I was always somewhat impressed with what my older relatives fits could do. This build is sure to be a sleeper of sleeper type builds.
  • @sleveille44
It's so excellent that it's running like an unmodified car and not too violent and it's so smoooth too. This is a really good build so far.
  • @jyoung188
Woah thanks YouTube recommendations, I’ve never seen this channel before but this looks like a super cool build and host.

Hey guys don't forget about Ethan's shop, Unequal Fabrication. He DOES offer exhaust systems, headers etc for Fit's up to 2.5" piping. I actually ordered one of his headers the other day, just hope it ships soon. Loving this series & really hope to do the K swap into my GE8 as well. I wish the K fit into the GD3 chassis better, I know allot of people do the GD3 k-swap but I agree it seems at home in the GE8. Non-the less please keep the content coming.

Great vid and series! Love the passion for the mighty Fit! At 17:05 you said you'd put a list of parts in the description but that list is nowhere to be found.

2:30 - Even up here in Utah, this heatwave is nasty! Over 100 every day. Love the work you guys do! Keep it up! If you ever make turbo k swap manifolds, I'd be your first buyer!
  • @Motorsportsgeek
Looks like such a fun car. I'm currently collecting parts for a 2ZR swap on my 2 door 5 speed yaris. Perfect daily drivers
  • @zacragoonath

Up here in the PNW, I worked with a very smart man at the Honda dealer. He was one of the first and only to have a full Can-Bus K24 swapped Honda Insight. He built it about 10 years ago now, likely still has it.
