  • the black and white effect works because any number divided by nothing (not zero) is equal to infinity, if you were to just grab a join operator and type infinity with a capital i, it would also work
  • @OchacoLo_ver.
that helped me alot bcus people want me to make games and stuff for them but i dont feel like it and thank you so much for making this i will subscribe and like and i love how ur not shy i can hear u so well and again good job dont stop make more !
  • @nickjack25
The black and white filter may be useful for what Im making. I might have a power that lets you freeze all enemies and effects but you can still move. Kinda like super mario galaxy 2. I might also use the enter key pressed for selecting a level, or any key.

the duplicate and transparant shapes can be done alot easier with scratch addons. (and the enter key one too i think)
  • Thanks for the great video! The transparent square trick really helped me on my game
  • 4:19 Correction: on windows, press the control (ctrl) key. The windows key is only used for windows shortcuts, not shortcuts in browsers and other programs.
  • There;s more scratch hacks, there's one where you take the [Backdrop # of Stage] variable and put it in any different sprite or backdrop and then set the second value to a certain sprite, then drag the block into the sprite you input as the value.
  • 3:06 instead of leaving it like that - select erase, Click on the edit costume screen And the size is now 0x0
  • 4:22 the "cancel" option by doing command + z on mac is pressing CONTROL + z (and not the logo button) on windows
  • @-CookieDev-
3:20 you can set the key to anything that isnt capital or shift version. for example: change brush size by negative 1 when [ pressed!
  • @orrinpants
I already knew all of these Also, for transparent rectangles, just use the opacity slider (it's a little bit finicky, but it works)
  • @smth35
I kinda wanted to put out the fact that you could put variables in sensor blocks, but it seems that was already in. I also didn't know bonus keys could get in there!
  • @w1ld76
Thanks alot, those are the things nobody tells you but that can be useful
  • @Speed-TV
Updated version: The black and white effect is broken and it doesn't work correctly A better way to get transparent colors is to use the turbowarp paint editor You can duplicate a shape in it's same position by pasting it in a new costume, copying it there, deleting it there, then pasting it back in the original costume The enter key detection wasn't intended so it might not work properly with future updates The retrieve deleted code is just the undo option so it can also be used to undo any mistakes Bonus: You can use scratch addons or turbowarp editor for many more special features and hacks
  • On the smooth movement part, on the divide is that the more larger the numbers, the less strong movement
  • @thatoneptfan
for the smooth movement: the amount you divide by matters. its actually the amount of smoothness. the bigger the number the smoother it is.
  • @deathtime4763
the transparent colours thing can easily be recreated with scratch addons btw
