  • Five years back, my wife and I were on the brink of divorce because of issues in our marriage, but we found a way to fix them. It was hard, but we made it through...... Most times, patience and the desire to make it work, is all we need.
  • Years ago I went through the marriage even though there was emotional, sexual and verbal abuse. It affected my children as well. I thought that I had to stay because I was a Christian. The enemy lied constantly and I finally left. My adult children and I were better for it. Don't ever forget that we have a Heavenly Father that loves us no matter what.
  • Who cares if you stopped watching DAYSTAR. Millions and Millions of people just can't wait to watch the next episode.
  • People can have a million reasons why they have cheated, the bottom line it is an act of selfishness. Period!! It’s about “me”.

Love Joni Table Talk. You have the most interesting guests on everything from cutting edge medical issues to Bible scholars are important issues. God bless you and all the ladies at the table
  • If a spouse isn’t meeting a need or needs… specific communication is required and possibly counseling when needed. To cheat is an absolute selfish choice. Marriage goes through trials, and tribulations, downtimes, etc. none of those reasons are an excuse to cheat. It isn’t even comparable for a spouse that cheats and a spouse that isn’t fulfilling your needs anymore because of everyday life. Most couples aren’t communicating and unfortunately reading between the lines or trying to read minds won’t cut it. Be direct and communicate so there isn’t any misunderstanding.
  • @bereanist
Isolation is a huge sign of danger. He made his man cave outside of the house. His shop, and a camper we had in our backyard. My ex did that a few times and then abandoned me even though I suggested Christian counseling.
  • I do not believe this cheating thing, my ex traveled 9 month out of one year but I have never though to cheating even and he is the one cheated. It is each one commitment issues. Cheaters open up the door to cheat.
  • Thank you for this wonderful conversation. It really blessed me.
  • All I hear are excuses we make for those who cheat. There is NEVER an excuse good enough to excuse or stand as reason for one to cheat. Never. One makes that choice. People start blaming themselves for people who can't stand the heat. If it's too hot, get out of the kitchen!! Be woman enough or man enough to leave the other person. Than putting them through the pain. Cowards!
  • You still CHOOSE to cheat......so the spouse who is withdrawn, is at fault for their spouse cheating???? HUH?? I've been married 24yrs....life happens, we go thru ups and downs, sometimes, out of our control, things happen, whether it's health, work, stress....I won't put myself in a position to cheat, either does my hubby....its a choice we make! Life is hard, marriage is hard, but in sickness and in health, till death do us part!
  • Also even when I had loving issues toward my ex due yo he was married to his mom, I have prayed to God many years to restore my love towards my ex and Lord did restore my heart. No excuses!
