Started a job at building supplies store without much knowledge of home renovation, I was getting eaten alive by customers and contractors for months, but this channel really helped me learn more so that I can do my job better. So thank you for that sir.

Both myself and my partner lost our fathers over the last two years, my dad taught me so much and my partners dad was her handyman. We moved into a place with hidden horrors everywhere and you’ve been like our distant uncle, just guiding us through fixes! Thank you, sincerely man, thank you 🙌🏻

"Vinyl over carpet?" You kept a straight face.. well done!
  • @EnVLover
I'm buying my first house and I truly appreciate all your videos!
  • @loribwaggles
Hey Jeff, Thank you for putting these great videos together. I have several home projects and you're a huge help throughout all of them. I have hit a bit of a snag -- I've ripped out the carpeting from one of our rooms and found out that the previous owners built the walls on top of the carpeting. So I have all of these little pieces of carpet hanging out from under the wall. I've struggle with trying to rip through it with a utility knife (new, sharp blade), but am getting nowhere. I have a feeling I may not like the answer, but if you have anything to share, bring it on. I can take it. THANK YOU!

Kudos to Jeff for providing one of the BEST SUMMARIES of a key DIY genre I've ever found on the web. I've found his advice over the years to be practical, accurate, and well-edited........and no hokey "click-bait" teasers just to get "more views" either! "Hat's off" to Jeff for continuing to add QUALITY content to YouTube! What a breath of fresh air!
  • @colecar46
Thank you!!! We love watching your shows!!! You’re the Best!! You’re great at educating us on do’s and don’ts. Please keep up the hard work.
  • This is my second video of yours! Binge watching! Thank you for your expertise and sharing your experience and knowledge! We have a thin hardwood floor glued into the concrete floor, no crawl space. We had an awful time of getting the hardwood and glue off the concrete when we did our half bath, and definitely know removing the other rooms(kitchen and entryway) are just too much for us to attempt, unless we can prepare and just lay a new floor over what’s there. I think you gave us some great information, just want to know if you might add anything different to prepare the surface on the wood, different than what you mentioned? Thank you so much! Definitely love your channel and will be sharing with others!
  • @peterhoang9272
As always jeff, this channel is so underrated, you deserve 50 million subs. Thanks for all the info. Looking forward to next video
  • Thank you I am just going through the process of whether or not to recondition the old floor boards or start again and your video (once again) has helped immensely. Your videos are fantastic.
