I appreciate your saying that since there were so so many likes that you are using a recipe as close as possible to the all recipes version and not that you thought you were making perfectly Italian cuisine! come on people! she does a great job at making our lives a lot easier when we cook but fun, too.     I agree wholeheartedly with previous comment givers! I have made several recipes so far - the meatloaf, tuna casserole, southern style banana pudding and fettucine alfredo. Yum, yum yummy!     If you grate your own Parmesan cheese, be careful with your knuckles. In Italy, they sell some round metal dishes with a grate on top for grating cheese -- at least they used to.

    I love it with thin slices of sweet sausage. The cream holds it together, or you can add a tempered egg yolk. Make sure you remove sauce from heat before adding cheese, it can burn. Alfredo "breaks" easily. Never reheat in microwave.
