Pacifist speedruns and challenges have existed for what seems like forever in gaming. But what happens when our friend Mario tries this same challenge with the potential legal repercussion of going to jail if he fails?

Just to clear things up, when writing the script I was aware the broodals "come back" later and that the majority of the game doesn't take place in the mushroom kingdom. However if someone killed me and I came back later I'd still be upset, also I prefer to think that peach is the de facto shadow leader of the entire world Mario takes place in.
  • I love the idea that Cappy is a ruthless murderer, and Mario is just sleeping for half of it
  • @TheFrantastic
Technically Peach's law on murder only applies to the Mushroom Kingdom, she doesn't govern anywhere else in the world, and since you start in cap kingdom, there's no illegal murder. Run solved, Mario can kill legally!

"On May 12 2022 Cappy would be found guilty on 10 counts of first degree murder living the rest of his days in prison." Is the best storyline ever. And how Mario thinks about how he could have tried to stop it.

I'd say that those weren't Hariette's and Topper's twins, but they still were themselves (originals). Everyone knows that in Mario universe important characters have multiple lives - so do they. However that doesn't change much because taking 1 life out of many is still taking a life.

Very glad you can provide a good scissor diagram for each battle, very difficult to understand otherwise
  • @Memetastic
this went from a super mario odyssey video to a full-fledged crime documentary

“So mario is perfectly within the law to kick bowser’s ass.” I never thought i would hear a sentence like this.
  • @WillieJasinski
The premise, the editing, the storyline, the paper Mario cutouts…absolutely beautiful😂🙌🏼 super funny video!!

This is the most semantics-abusing challenge I've ever seen and I'm here for it.

“So Mario is perfectly within the law To Beat His Ass”
  • There's something about Mario about how even the most pacifist of runs ends up causing multiple families great grief.
  • @Eli_playz1013
Love this storyline of cappy being this evil murderer while Mario hears it all going on and thinks: “hm, nice weather”
  • @Lumberjack_king
2:18 lol he can't break the no killing law but breaking the laws of physics is ay ok
  • @Mostly_Roblox
1: The Broodal fights aren't murder because of the Mecha-Broodal fight where they all return 2: Technically none of this counts because they are outside of the mushroom kingdom 3: I think Peach would let this slide because Mario is saving her from Bowser
  • @fox_box7143
Technically if Mario has a hunting license then he is in leagal rights to kill klepto
  • @THECHOSENONE199
“It’s-a me” “yamingda” most beautiful conversation 🥹🥲

Imagine being mario and finding out your partner is a mass murderer

Imagine finding out your friend killed 10 people without you knowing. And you were standing right next to them when they did it
