Today I learned someone close to me has died. I've been texting him all week to catch up but found out he died the morning after I had seen him last. He helped me through the darkest part of my life. I didn't know someone could be as scared as I was. And when I was hopeless he showed me there was something else. I'm sitting in a cafe and this song is playing. Thanks for not giving up on me.

This song hurts, especially after falling so hard for someone for so long, only to find that they don’t fall as hard as you did for them and end up leaving.

This is my favorite genre of music and I was SHOOK when I heard it in Hilda. I immediately went to the credits after watching the episode and searched for the credits to this song.

i was studying in beijing, china, last winter. i went out with a boy and he told me i HAD to listen to frankie cosmos. i heard this song and it was the soundtrack of the perfect days of my trip. sunny days, empty parks, good weather. good memories. everything just before the virus spread. thank you leonid. thank you frankie cosmos. hope china (and the world) gets better soon!

Reminds me of Adventure Time’s songs from and the instrumental reminds me of Mac Demarco or Boy Pablo and I can’t recall anything that reminds me of the lyrics or vocals

After seeing all my childhood/teenage shows such as adventure time, steven universe, avatar, etc all finish up and end by the time I became an adult, it's refreshing to see a show like Hilda hold onto the values that made those shows so good, I hope they make many more seasons and include many more great songs such as this. Hilda really does feel like one more breath of fresh air when it comes to cosy enjoyable cartoons. Don't think there are any more Cartoons that are still being made and airing that I genuinely enjoy right now besides that one, I hope more come up in the near future from the next generation of animators that grew up with adventure time and the likes.
