  • Hi ! My name is Ayla and I am legally blind and live in British Columbia, Canada! It’s so great to hear other blind people’s stories! I hope you keep doing this series it’s great !
  • @kellymellows6777
Yeah I've seen and stiddied up on these things. People swear just because blind people can function like "normal" people that they're faking. It's crazy how some feel as tho being blind means paraplegic. Insanity.

One thing that annoys me about the demise of the DVD market is that streaming services just don't include the audio description tracks, really hoping this changes, they have closed captions but no audio description option, iPlayer NOWTV and even Netflix don't have anything yet.

Good idea for a video! Can't wait to watch this. Thanks! 😊👍💜
  • @truthseeker2314
The sad thing is is that nay sayers will never understand or watch this. I dont need proof i can SEE for myself. TY for your work.
  • @GinaBush-gb6tk
Well, MIke this should be an example of how other people excelled in their lives even being legally blind.
  • @lisasmith8471
Great video. I recently subbed to @Blind to Billionaire. He's very informative and so enthusiastic. Glad to see you @Blind Justice & @Mrs. Justice. Y'all ROCK!
  • Thank you for the educational video. Time for people to get with the times of new technologies for the blind.
  • @jacam6586
So many awesome people out there bless all of u may God show u the way
  • @mick7909
I often get that other problem using a guide cane, where someone, with great intentions, just assumes you want to go across the nearest road....hate that most because it can really mess with your cardinal direction.... And then of course, ironically , you may actually now need assistance.
  • @NoName83201
Many versions of sight impairment (blindness). Brilliant video! TY!!
  • @SnapFaze
This is a great idea guys. Keep up the great work as usual :)
  • @clarinetstar14
I'm fully blind in left eye and only have central in right, which is rather dependent on lighting. Dim makes it much much lower. And bright is blinding
  • @jennp7
Thank you @Blind Justice for sharing this I’m looking forward to this series and thanks to Emily as well for coming on and sharing with us all! I subbed to your channel Emily 😊 Very informative video. Be safe all ❤️
  • @PerthObserver
hey hey guys.. hope youre doing well. good to see you doin this kind of stuff, kinda takin a turn away from the norm. AWESOME STUFF.
  • @capttom7772
WOW!!! GREAT Idea !!! Actually .....I'm happy to not be blind ......yet..LOL! ........I am in a wheelchair and as soon as I saw the title....I knew what you were talkin 'bout! A few years back, when I could still get around on crutches a neighbor told me that what I needed was to "throw the crutches away!" She said this in a very condescending way and I held my tongue. (my thoughts were; well! Amazing how Susan can get a Degree in Medicine to surpass all the specialist i see monthly..........)......I just wish she could experience one day in my chair.....and I'm learning how to pray for her!

My favourite assistive technology is the synapptic interface app, it's not cheap but it comes with two years of support and some great navigation aids, built-in functions and lots of good stuff out of the box, including be my eyes. For some reason, it doesn't come with easyreader installed which is compatible with the new RNIB reading service (unlike audible etc, it is completely fee for the blind, partially sighted or otherwise print impaired, I prefer it to the USB stick in the post but you have to bear in mind the service does not have the same level of access to lots of the RNIB back catalogue content for reasons of publisher fear).
  • @BlindGirlVlogs
Great video and thanks for sharing. Raising awareness and education is key. Everyone’s cight loss journey impacts them differently and nobody’s sight loss journey is the same. I love to hear other peoples tips and how technology enables people to live as independently as possible. Overcoming negative perceptions and positively creating great content like this is a step in the right direction. :-). Stay safe everyone.
