Today was a good garden day for me. I put a fall planting of Zucchini, cucumbers and lettuce in. An old market garden said plant Zucchini and cucumbers the end of July early August because in the spring everyone has them in the fall nobody has them but everyone wants them.
  • Good day for a new veggie boy video. I had to put brakes on my truck today and now I'm hunting and tired. I found out Wednesday that I have cancer in my prostate. I kept wondering why I was having so much pain and now I know. DOC said they have caught it early and they can treat it fairly easy so I hope so. I was really depressed until I saw this new video and it has brighten up my day. Thanks Andrew

Hey Andrew, about a quarter of the way through your video you showed us a scene that took our breath away which showed green pastures and blue skies with puffy clouds! OMG, that was beautiful! Cheers!
  • I laugh at how you dislike picking peas When I was a kid on the farm growing up green beans was my nemesis The leaves made my arms break out in big welts so I always had to pick in a long sleeve shirt, that sucked big-time ! The good old days, now that I’m seventy-five and looking back on it. I thoroughly enjoy the channel and you have a wonderful family and you realize it which is good

I'm happy to see you starting to fill wagons with produce.

Do you ever run in to bears while you're picking veggies?
  • @cmc7106
Everything looks amazing!! Seems like you guys were just on the Water Wheel planting the transplants 👍
  • @chief7174
the chicken that laid that 3x egg was no spring chicken after that showing
  • AS the old saying goes: Make hay while the sun shines. Boy those watermelons sure have grown. Wow!!! Our garden not doing as well this year. Lost second batch of cabbages. Rats are eating tomatoes. We did get some squash and green beans and cucumbers. Tried again to grow potatoes and it didn't work. Can't seem to grow them in our area. Did you ever get sawdust back for the livestock?

Loading straw...so much work! Either loading a trailer or in a loft.

You win the beard contest, not that there was one, but yours looks fantastic! Love watching y'all picking sweet corn and eating it raw in the fields. One thing about being a farmer, you eat really well!!! A video of Grammy making pies would be great as the other commenter suggested!
