Synopsis:
Princess Margaret is dismissed as a party-going rebel who embarrassed the Queen with her scandalous life. But we reveal the real relationship between Elizabeth and Margaret and how Margaret sacrificed her own happiness for her big sister and the crown. In their intensely close childhood, it was Margaret who dazzled, outshining her strait-laced sister; but when Elizabeth became the most famous woman in the world the pressure threatened to destroy their relationship. We go behind Margaret’s headline-grabbing reputation to reveal how scandal shook the sisters’ relationship but how, in the end, their loyalty to each other proved the strongest bond.

Reviews:
"Quite a decent documentary with some original footage, photos and experts who actually knew them for years. We saw reputable sources such as doctors weigh on the relationship of the two sisters.

I found it quite informative and interesting in parts. Margo and Elizabeth have such a complicated life together. It's funny to think how their lives turned out so different. Fate made Elizabeth the Queen and caused Margo to lose her sister and best friend. But even putting fate aside, Margo's life sadly took such wrong turns, she picked the wrong men and made some bad decisions. She also could have taken better care of her health which saw her pass away before her own mother and sister. A tragic life for Margaret and a tough relationship to manage when your sister is the Queen. As Elizabeth's life took off and she set into being Queen, Margaret's life fell backwards. Margaret remains one of the tragic figures in the history of the royal family."

  • I love how Queen Elizabeth ll said on the radio one day: "My sister is By my side". I love babies and children and I raised my two children and I have a Prince and a Princess and I raised them two to be there for one another and they are like peas in a pod. My Son was born in ''2011 and My Daughter was born in '2013. Queen Elizabeth ll loved her sister, and she had the world on her shoulders after She became Queen, and she stayed Calm through her reign, that day they parted of The Death of Margaret, definitely was Great sorry, especially for a family member who was always to the left or right of you everyday, Great Documentary, much love from USA🇬🇧❤️💯🙏🏾👑
  • I suspect that it was the loss of the annual income as a member of the royal family and the loss of her title that propelled Margaret to renounce Townsend not so much her sense of duty.

My late aunt kept getting told she looked "regal." Pretty sure it was that she was a dead ringer for Princess Margaret.
